As a vintage RC enthousiast, a 3D printer would be the ultimate dream for me!! No more searching, just drawing :D Keep them rolling!! Nice work!!
Haha! Thank you!
This may need to be my first Hobby grade RC
It is a good choice.
So when will we see a video of the current setup at the indoor track annoying the high dollar trucks? Maybe the KingCab also.
Very soon! I can only go week days and that is also when I work so it isn't easy.
Nice work
Thank you!
I see you like the super rooster Speed controls I love them please comment back
I have 20 or so of them
Nice!... Tip I use on motor mounts like that or even if just like normal and screw heads stick out Get a little dab of shoe goo glue and put some around on half side of the screw touching the plastic and screw head and this way the screw cant come loose even if you just lightly bottom it out. And the shoe goo always is removable . =)
That is a great suggestion! I will need to try that. I love shoe goo. BTW your parts came....
Cool make sure to clean parts with Windex or better yet rubbing alcohol first so the glue sticks! And man the parts came in! 😁
What motors do you suggest for the monster beetle and the Brat RC what motors do you think are the best for those to RC cars please comment back I don't want something really extremely fast but just to have fun
Only stock motors. That is what I use.
Can the Nylon handle the heat from a 17.5 turn brushless motor(with heat shield applied of course)? I planned on upgrading my Blackfoot to one once the Silvercan dies.
I am running a mod and it should be no problem. These have a higher melting point than abs.
Hello I have a ? I have a super blackfoot chassy I bought a traxxas motor it doesn't seem to fit do they make an adapter to allow the motor fit my blackfoot undercarriage
Well if it is a 540 motor, it will fit. the only difference is the pinion gear. It will need the correct one (you can find that in the manual on a pdf) and then get that on ebay. If it is bigger than a 540, do not use it. You need a 540 and a slow one at that. There are no replacement parts easily sourced for a SBF.
Did you say Falcon? Oh now you are talking, that was my first hobby grade, the Blackfoot was my second. I have a Falcon I got on Ebay a few years ago and have been wanting to restore.
Yup, I have the complete front end designed and working on a cage for the chassis to brace the front end.
I'm going to buy 4 of them
Haha! Yeah I burned all my old ones for spite.
im suprised mine hasnt broken yet doing 30mph wheelies on a brushless setup after sitting in the loft for about 10 years unused haha
Well I only had one technically break off but they are all broken. I couldn't believe it.
Just curious what motor do you use in your Blackfoot variants? Thanks
Great question. Most of my ORV cars are running sliver cans or at most, hot stocks like this RacePrep in project Mudblaster. However, both this truck and my race Frog now run 17t and 16t mods, respectively. However, it is important to note that every orv I have has a MIP diff. There is no way that stock one will hold up to even a hot stock motor.
AMPRO Engineering Thanks for the info. I am new to the hobby and just bought my first kit (Blackfoot rerelease). I have been watching all your videos trying to get all the info I can. I have ordered the MIP ball diff for the Blackfoot already and was looking for a hot stock motor to put in it. I have found what looks like a race prep orange can that looks like yours says power zone on it but in orange not purple. Not sure what the difference is? Any other hot stock motor you would recommend if that doesn’t work out? Thanks for your time.
Cannot thank you enough.....BACK TO THE SKATE PARK!
That's for sure!
Out of all the things that you show you never showed people how to prep their RC cars and paint them out of everything that you ever showed us on CZcams what is the right way and what is the Wrong way please comment back thank you so very much for all of your videos I am still waiting for one to show up But I know that is not going to be for a while so please call Nat back on the proper way on prepping The RC fiberglass bodies and the clear bodies is there a special way that you have to prep them thank you very much like I said for all of your videos
The reason I have never shown paint prep is that there are so many variables involved. I may need to give it a go though.
@@AMPROEngineering OK did you ever make those king Blackfoot pieces yet or no please comment back thank you very much and please be safe
