You are so honest and relatable. Love the way you are giving yourself grace and not putting pressure on yourself to be "perfect". Being a wife and mother is hard work! Love you guys!
Yeah, itâs really hard work especially for normal people in normal society did actually go to college get a high school education get a high school diploma or not in the idlp cults and that work as mothers and father in the real world for there money you know like a real world grown ups sometimes grow up into not children anymore. Do you become adults and when you become an adult, you never know your ward in society in society. We are not a part of cults. We are in America in America. We are not in cults yeah
So glad yâall were able to help with church camp. Thanks for being so open with your family.
đđ»â„ïžFrom a 48 year old wife and mom, and homemaker married 28 years, I just want to tell you Joy that I am very proud of you! You are such an amazing wife and mom! Great job!!! You are awesome!â„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïž
New baby life is agreeing with you. Camping with little ones and newborns is a challenge and you rock it! Austin is so hands on and enjoys being a daddy heâs glowing.
I loved how Evie sang and talked throughout the background. So sweet!
Joy, your mom named you just right! I love your videos and know that God is blessing you! You are such a joy!
Amen to that!!! đ„°â„ïžđ
Thanks Joy for sharing. Happy Father's Day Austin!
So glad you don't pressure yourself about weight loss! Some women do naturally go back quick! I'm like you, it takes me over a year. Too many mama's stress over this when your body just did an amazing thing!
Joy, you are doing great. Your Aâs to the Qâs were quite healthy! Itâs very refreshing to see you embrace your life and let go of the perfection so many motherâs think they need to strive for. You are going with the flow. Congratulations to you and to Austin on the newest addition to the family.
13:04 from the outside looking in, youâre doing great! I canât believe youâre already going with the flow and working the camp and even staying in the RV! Super hero momma!
Have a great day and happy Fatherâs Day Austin. Gunner is adorable
Thank you for sharing and being so open joy. Happy fathers day Austin!
Bless you, love your honesty and being so candid. Love your channel!
Such a great example of parenting⊠you remind me so much of your beautiful mom.
I can completely relate to the expectation scenario. If I can't do as much as I want to, I don't do any. Thank you for sharing that. I'm not alone.
It's so awesome seeing you raise your little family. Thank you for your honesty and openness. Wishing you all the best đ
Joy- thank you for being REAL. Thatâs what we love about you. â€
You are looking great, Joy. Gunner is certainly looking well fed and so darn cute! đ
I love how honest you are!! Iâm now a grand parent but I would of loved to of had someone like you to share about your life! Great job.
Joy you are killing itđđ.
Soo happy things are off to a great start. I lala love your mindfulness with yourself. What a lovely example.
Continue on.
âźïžđđ€ to all 5 of you. Xo
Thanks for being so honest, you're a good mama. Kids are a blessing but they do create work for parents.
Thanks for sharing bits of your life with us. I truly enjoy seeing you. And your family is adorbs. đ„°đ
Little Gunner is so adorable! My grandson's hair was the same color as Gunner's when he was a small baby but it has since turned red, more of a strawberry blonde. I love it!
Thanks for sharing your family with us, God bless!
You are a good mommy†Austin stays working, never stops... We love your family here in Alabama†Even my kids ask when you put a new video out!
It's so sweet that your letting your kids be kids!!..A little dirt don't hurt nothing!!..Your a great mom!
I appreciate how laid back you are. But I also really appreciate how you are honest about your spiritual life. I went through a wilderness season when I was reading my Bible and praying a lot but now Iâm in a different season. I try to read a devotional each day and pray but actually reading my Bible everyday just doesnât happenâŠâŠ I often feel guilty about it but I also have responsibilities and tasks to do and it hard to make time but I believe God knows our hearts. He wants us to be in our word but itâs about our getting strength, wisdom, hunger and desire from Godâs word rather than being mediatory and weâre sinning if we donât.
If she telling you she has to potty, she is telling you that she is ready to potty train. it would not take much since she is telling you and it will make things easier for you.
I saw the little potty in the hallway so I think theyâre starting potty training. Hopefully it wonât take her very long!
Thatâs not necessarily the case. You donât know their personal situation.
Telling her after the fact is progress. But they need to be able to tell you BEFORE they do it.
@@nancyfarkas3592The little girl told her mom she peed in the potty without anyone telling her to. Obviously they ve talked to her about it and had a potty at the ready. Then Evie used it with no prompts and showed her mom. Gideon was very proud of her and excited and she told her dad when he got in. Joy backed up her story and he praised her. So, Evie didnât say she had to go after the fact. She told her she did go after the fact. I have an inhome childcare for 38 years now and have potty trained so so many kids over the years and her going in to do it on her own is a big deal!!
I think Joy knows that. But what Evie did there was she actually peed in the potty then told her mom she went with no one telling her too.
Thanks for being so open and honest
I just wanna say I enjoyed your honesty and I'm glad you & the family are doing well. âș
Happy Father's Austin enjoy your day âșïžâ€ with the kids and Joy
Love your honesty â€thanks for sharing â€
Joy you are so awesome and a honest breath of fresh air!!! You are so sweet and down to earth. Thank you for being you đ God bless y'all â€â€â€
Sheâs all of THAT and more!! I never can get enough of her!! And she has SUCH a soft and soothing voice!! I bet the kids appreciate her soothing voice!! Iâm just SO GLAD she lets us tiptoe into their life a little bit!! JOY IS A JOY!!
Happy Father's day Austin dad of three now.
My kiddo was the same when it came to sleep. Right around 1 1/2-2 he started consistently sleeping a ânormalâ sleep schedule. My husband and I kind of beat ourselves up because we thought we had failed, it is refreshing to hear that someone who has 100x the baby experience we had also had a similar experience.
Thank you for sharing, love seeing your sweet family. God bless!
I enjoy your honesty. Itâs been many moons since Iâve had a baby (39). However this past week I had the honors of babysitting my two grandsons, they are 2 and almost 3. Brought back so many memories of raising our sons! Also made me very thankful we had our children young.. trying to keep up with a toddler at 62 is a lot more exhausting đ„°. Enjoy your babies,
I always wanted four kiddos, and the Lord gave me two boys and two girls. I knew I wasn't done after the 3rd. Now I know we're done! :) You'll know when you're done for sure. The Lord will guide you.
I felt that way once I hit 5. It was my goal number too â€
Your doing Great Joy! And please tell Austin Happy Fathers Day
Having a great support system makes such a difference
Itâs so true: youâll know when youâre done having children. I have five - an older set who are 23, 22, and 20, and a younger set who are 14 and almost 12. I had just turned 39 when my last baby was born, so I knew I was done! LOL Itâs definitely not the same being pregnant and keeping up with little ones when youâre a bit older. Youâre doing a great job being a Mom! Take it slow, enjoy these special moments and when the time is right for another, youâll know. đ
Joy, where did you get your phone case? I love the loop on the back to help hold the phone! Thanks!
Thank you for your Honesty and happy Father day Austin
Im happy that you doing well and happy Father's day to Austin
Happy Fatherâs Day Austin! Thanks Joy for being so open and honest. Your a very precious lady. Yâall have a wonderful and blessed week!
Such an Angel! Sharing and helping others with coping âŠi understand my niece more now that Joy has enlightened me and educated us from her heart on her thoughts regarding this subject!đđïžâ€ïž
You look sooo good, motherhood really suits you and Austin is such a good dad.
Joy and Austin your little boy is beautiful. You guys are so blessed.
Love to see your little family!
You have beautiful children! The boys are going to be handsome men, and Eves is so pretty! With the sweet Godly environment at home they will grow up to be very good and caring people. You and Austin are doing a great job of parenting.
Amen this is why I love yâallâs channel
I love how youâre just genuine. I wish more moms could hear your Q&A! Youâre so relatable!
I know quiet time can be challenging with three little ones. I had 3 in 3 years and 4 months and it was hard. I found that I could take an extra two minutes in the bathroom to read either a very short devotional, a short prayer (from a book with a couple of verses), or three- four verses in the Bible. The Lord really taught me about using the remnants of my time well. I pray the Lord helps you find these remnants (I know they are just that) of time as well to help you grow spiritually in this season.
Love watching your little family
Thank you for sharing what real life is like. â€
I love your Q & A 'S. Baby Gunner is adorable.
Joy I think you look Amazing after having that sweet bundle of Goodness from the Lord above.... Too be helping out at Camp I would say you are doing great and I know the Lord is watching over you.. You and Austin have a beautiful family!
Joy, you have such a sweet spirit. â€â€ I love the updates on your family. Thank you for sharing with us. As always, sending prayers love and hugs yall's way. Happy Father's Day Austin.
I think it's wonderful that you don't try to sugarcoat pregnancy and delivery. It's hard that's why they call it labor. But you are doing a great job. Remind yourself of that every so often.
I love how yâall let the kids be kids. In my opinion when you are taking care of your 3 gifts for GOD you putting in your time learning..
Why wouldnât they let them be kids? Please stop saying that she want allowed to be a kid. She did.
@@nancyfarkas3592 some people on CZcams think they always have to have the kids spotless and new clothes on in every video. I like the videos where kids can just play and donât have to worry about getting dirty because their parents donât wonât the world to see them like that. You were ready to just on me and you didnât even have a clue what I meant⊠back down because all I meant is their videos are real!!!!!
Make sure to plan âdatesâ with each other!! Itâs very important to keep the spark alive in your relationship with your spouse!! Also enjoy every moment with your kids - the good & the bad!! The time flies by & before you know it your babies will be moving out! Hold them a little tighter, kiss them more & tell them you love them multiple times throughout the day!! Yâall are doing great! So happy for yâall!!
I love your Q&As, Joy - youâre honest, and you donât sugarcoat things. I really love how it is very clear that your kids come first (as they should), but I also agree that while it might be more difficult to find the alone time, youâll both put in the work to make sure you get that chill time together (itâs still early days in Gunnarâs life - so donât worry that you donât immediately have everything sorted - youâll get there in the coming weeks, youâll find that rhythm that works).
Also, I couldnât breastfeed my son, because he had milk protein intolerance, so was on a special formula, and it actually really made me smile to see your answer to the question. Because it makes so much sense - take it a bit at a time, if it works, it works, and if it doesnât, it doesnât. I certainly would not judge you, if you found that breastfeeding Gunnar wasnât working for you, or for him, and switched over.
As the paediatrician said after we found out I wouldnât be breastfeeding, the point is to make sure kiddo ends up well-nourished and fed, even if it doesnât come from your own nipple.
You absolutely rock, Joy - and I like the way your videos are - we get a peek in at your life as parents/a family, but itâs absolutely not open-doors or anything. As it should be - and Iâm so sorry your earlier life was so open and on camera. Please know that youâre absolutely doing it right with your own kids, and I respect the heck out of you.
đSasha
I feel the same about Bible time. I feel like I put more pressure on myself about that and feel guilty. You are transparent. Thanks for sharing. You will know when your done with kiddos. Once I Hit my goal family I actually felt fulfilled and done. So do you boo. You will know.
I love your answers. Be gentle with yourself.
Plus , what you plan for date night will have to change . You two will still enjoy it !! Put the kids to bed , hubby runs and grabs food and have a candlelight supper at home !!! Nothing wrong with snacks by candlelight!!! đ You two will figure it out ! Promise!! God bless !
thank you for being so candid! keep the Lord in mind throughout the day and keep working on your marriage. It's important.
The new baby looks so much like his siblings - especially his sister!!!! So sweet. It was really nice to hear from you and have you be open and vulnerable. Itâs a hard time with a newborn and other little ones. Appreciate this vlog. You look wonderful - donât worry about weight you are lovely and try to enjoy this time ⊠and you donât need to know if/how many kids mere weeks after giving birth! Take good care of yourself. âźïž
Thank you for sharing, Joy! Love that you share your family with us!
I absolutely enjoy your videos. †ya'all! God bless ya'all!
Happy Fatherâs dayâs Austenđ
I commend you for admitting to not giving much time to the Lord. I have a 2.5 year old and I too have found it incredibly difficult on getting back into that groove. If you don't mind, I have one single tip. I downloaded my favorite bible version on my Kindle and I read it to my kiddo as she goes to sleep. I have her lay there quietly and listen. They are sponges so I know she's getting some good info and I get some bible time in. You're doing great!!!
Itâs cool you have a camper. Kids look good! I love you all. DYI for mosquitoes Irish springs soap shredded up. Spread around where you are sitting. They hate it ! Works. Iâm praying for you & Austin and those gorgeous children. I love You Joy Anna!!
Joy, you are so sweet and youâre doing great! â€
After having a baby my time with God was a lot more private conversations with him through the day and praying holding rocking littles. â€
This right here. As a mom you have to take time with god where you can get it. On the way to and from pick up or drop offs. Watching them play or while cooking. â€
FACTS... U will definitely KNOW when ur done having kids. â€
ENJOY EVERY MINUTE!!!
đââïžâ€ looks like you are all doing so well!
I love your honesty and how real you are. You donât sugarcoat anything and Iâm here for that â€
Things will come together the way they are supposed to. Giving yourself time to heal and figure out how things will work best for the family is awesome. After just having a baby and trying to keep up with 3 lkids and a house, who has time for sparks, I would be like sleep yes just give me some sleep đŽ đ€ đȘ. đ đ đ
Thank you for what you do and you are a very good Mom.
Your children are so adorable.
Your family is awesome because you are real. â€
18:01 I also have to remind myself that some is better than none. Thanks for the reminder.
Marriage is always a work in progress, no matter if you have littles or grown âbabiesâ! Sending love and best wishes on your new addition!
Did i miss thing in the video why what happened between her n her parents
I love you guys! Thank you for keeping us all updated on your life. It just isn't the same not being able to watch you on tv. I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Much love to you all, and God bless.
You guys are doing a wonderful job.
Love your channel.đ
I love your family, your attitude, and your channel, Joy! Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations on your new arrival. .â€â€
100% done at 5 living babies. I did feel it for sure
Have you heard about Phylicia Masonheimer? She offers great insight on doing that very thing you were describing - not putting a ton of pressure on yourself to read X amount of chapters of the Bible or rigidly stick to a reading plan. I think itâs more about just showing up †(Iâm saying this because I also struggle with the same all-or-nothing mentality) She also shared what she does as a busy mom which is putting an alarm on her phone 3 times a day, and spending 10 minutes with God each time, whether itâs prayer or Bible study or just time with Him. Hope that helps â€
Such a precious family! I think Gunner looks so much like Evelyn.
I sure appreciate how you are so kind to share so much with all of us! I really enjoy what you put out for us! Your kids are so adorable too!!
Happy fathers day Austin
I really appreciate your honesty about your time with the Lord. Maybe there is a Bible app. you could listen to in the car. Itâs great that you have people offering to watch the kids. You could try to plan a date night once a month or more often if possible. Never stop dating each other. (Thatâs one of the best pieces of marital advice I have received) Life gets super busy with 3 kids but you and Austin will find what works for you both and your precious family. These are the best days of your life, enjoy and soak in every moment, they grow up fast. Thanks for sharing your vlogs with us. You and Austin are wonderful parents.
Gunner looks so healthy heâs a beautiful baby â€
I never felt "done" having kids. In fact there are still days I wish I had more. However, I did hit a point where I felt "done" potty training. đ That's when we stopped having babies.
Donât be so hard on yourself. Show yourself som grace. No one I perfect. Itâs hard raising 3 children. I think your doing a great job!
Thanks for sharing your family with us, Joy Anna. Love seeing your kids growing up.
In regards to how many children to have and feeling done, most women donât feel done with having children, some just canât have as many for many different reasons. I have always wanted seven children but doubt that will happen. I have one and sheâs almost seven and Iâm 30 next year. Not my choice to still have one child, I probably would have five by now if it wasnât for heartbreaking life experiences.
Congrats on your new baby boy
It is so hard to get in God's word in the chaos of motherhood! I found during times when life is a lot, new baby, sick kids, sick parents, I found I just listen to my Bible. In fact, I listen to my Bible every night when I am getting ready for bed! Now, when things are not so crazy I have my Bible study time where I spend quality time in the word! This has changed my life. I still get the word "not my preferred way but it is still good, and it sets me up for a restful sleep.
Happy Father's Day!
Love your videos. Hi from lutz Florida USA
You are very sweet! Praying for your family. Congratulations on the new baby
