Despite what American 'Gen-Xers' might think, growing up in the U.S. During the 1950s and 1960s wasn't just about Davy Crockett coonskin caps, lava lamps, and 'flower children'. There were plenty of frightening aspects that baby boomers had to deal with as well. Do you remember those events?

Was a great quiz! I asked them from my father.

My dad was born on the day they did the Trinity Test. Technically he's a member of the "Silent Generation" but I'm sure he could answer these questions.

My dad was born about a year after Pearl Harbor…. People perceived the existential threats of the post-WW2 differently depending on age, circumstances, and so on; I think a question about the Vietnam War would have been very relevant as that had a huge impact on many Boomers, both personally and politically.

Born in 1945 3 days after VJ Day, most of the details used as answers were unknown to us as we grew up. I grew up phobic about polio, and endured the fear of nuclear annihilation into the 80s.
I witnessed the fighters & bombers pouring into McCoy AFB (now Orlando Intl Airport) during my senior year of high school. They were also accompanied by trains loaded with troops, anti-aircraft guns & missiles going through town.
Today at 79, I'm quite jaded over current events. Sorry, your quiz lacks some salient points of history. Obviously, you weren't alive then.
