I got sold on your 2 song reactions by Queen Mori that I had to subscribe to your channel. This is considered her Icon song which she did 3 years later and the song was released in 2015 on her freshman album. Many have tried to cover it but just can't do as good as Mori. It was written for the Himig Handog: P-Pop Love Songs songwriting competition (2014). The song entered the grand finals of Himig Handog 2014 but didn't receive any award. It is not so much whistle notes/tones as I still firmly believe that technique is called "flageolet". There is a lot of information on it since it is named after a particular French flute. Also, she did this flageolet in the same breath that she belted "gillw". The so called whistle/crack/squeak is her signature sound.
