- 4 Reasons Why Kung Fu Panda 4 Feels “Forced”.
No. 1, Zhen betraying Po is actually a red flag. And it doesn’t make sense that Po ends up making her the new Dragon Warrior the fact that she did Po dirty.
No. 2, Shifu forcing Po to be a Spiritual Leader makes me feel bad for Po. Because he can no longer enjoy being a Dragon Warrior. And I feel that Po is still the same Po at the end of the day. Nothing has changed Po.
No. 3, The 2 dads searching for their son is actually a disaster for Po. Because not only they exist for the sake of comedy, but they also make Po lose his confidence. “You followed because you didn’t believe in me.”
And no. 4, The movie itself doesn’t feel like a kung fu movie at all. I feel that the villain’s sorcery is way too powerful that it makes kung fu looks useless.

If that was the Lord Shen of kung fu panda 2 I would have cut the chameleon a mile (although of course I don't know if he still has his weapons)

You forgot No. 5, the absence of the Furious Five.
They are the closest friends to Po, and it adds greater depth and action into the story. If only we can dive deeper into their own arcs.

Zhen is a traitor. She betrayed her pangolin friend at first. When she betrayed Po. And then was chameleon's time. She is not the one who you could trust.
Instead of Zhen I would choose tai lung chooseing Zhen is like watching a dumb movie
I think po is just lame if only po's has tai lungs attitude he probably won't let forgive Zhen

Firstly why did Po have to choose a successor, he is on 27-8 in this film so he is still in his prime. Secondly I thought the dragon warrior was someone your born as not just a title.

even kung fu panda 3 is not so much a kung fu movie
It's pretty simple if you try to make a female character the MC of the series that was originally had male MC it will definitely feel forced
