I like Pastor Jimmy alot. He didn't intend to seat on the church money but went after his own passion to make a living for himself. Honestly I just remember the story of David in the Bible. May God help him to succeed.
God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called. May the spirit of God continue to guide you and order your steps Pastor Jimmy as you embark on this new journey. Yes, I feel same too. I believe this is God moving. He was born for this; God’s anointing and grace shall be sufficient for Pastor Jimmy. Am excited in my spirit! It’s a new dawn for Christianity in Nigeria; youths will takeover and break boundaries so we can move forward. I am so tired of the “religion.”
Anyone who is humble enough to accept that he is not called because he is qualified but because the God who called him is the greatest and could use anybody and anything would succeed. It is most humbling to remember that He used a donkey, a fish and even Samson in his most vulnerable state. I pray that Jimmy Odukoya finishes well (for the end is better than the beginning). I pray also that he receives grace to do away with certain things for the sake of the gospel; as the Bible says in 1Cor. 8:13 that if eating will cause my brother to stumble, I will not eat meat. Serving in the Lord's vineyard is most honourable, but it's a life of daily sacrifice. All things are lawful, but...

I don’t have any doubt that Pastor Jimmy will do well, a good leader is not one who knows it all, but the one who knows how to recruit people who can do the job very well. He will grow into that role. We’re tired of religious dogmas, it’s time to break out of the old limiting model of religion, and serve God with a clean heart of a child

i hope Jimmy is a godly man and not an actor. I didn't like how he was shouting when he did a tribute to his dad. I did not feel the spirit in him like his sisters.

Thank God the tribute was for his father and the shouting at his father’s funeral as well so why the dislike ma’am? We cannot tell anyone HOW to mourn their dead or the degree of expression, when it is your turn, just do you as he did his.
As for not feeling “the spirit in him like his sisters” l hope you know that you don’t live on his inside? The Lord does and only Him can tell/judge, not you or l sweetie.

Let's just say he isn't qualified, which I don't believe. We have many people like him in the bible who weren't qualified in the eyes of men but were qualified by God.. The church belongs to God.. As a Christian pray for him and let God be the judge.
