JD(S) Leaders HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna Face Legal Troubles Amidst Hassan Sex Scandal Probe

In the wake of the Hassan sex scandal probe, Holenarasipur JD(S) MLA H D Revanna was arrested in connection with a kidnapping case registered against him in Mysuru. This arrest followed the rejection of his anticipatory bail petition by a Bengaluru court. Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is expected to issue a Blue Notice against JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, who is reportedly in Germany on a diplomatic passport amidst allegations of sexual abuse. The State Investigation Team (SIT) has requested CBI's assistance in locating Prajwal Revanna's whereabouts. These developments unfolded after an emergency meeting held by CM Siddaramaiah with top police officials and the SIT. Additionally, HD Revanna, Prajwal's father, has filed a petition seeking anticipatory bail in the FIR, which includes charges of abduction and illegal confinement under IPC sections 364A and 365, respectively.
