This was a huge help for someone like myself that doesn't deal with computers at all!
I would say that I don't like using the "Double Line Spacing", because it not only doubles every line.......but it's hard to go back to c single spacing when you need to do so!

Wonderful tutorial, Sandy. Thank you!Question: I have to put in outline form several pages of notes that are sort of categorized. is it possible to convert an already-typed paper to the outline form you show?
Unless there is some sort of hierarchy set up in the original document, I don't see how that would be possible. But, if it's organized with headings, you could add a table of contents and that would be a form of an outline. Again, there has to be an already established hierarchy for the program to understand what goes where. Or, you could also do it manually! If it isn't too many pages, it won't take too long!

Why is most of this video completely unrelated to the title?
Do you have any videos regarding book reviews/critiques? I have one I'm writing currently. I have done the summary portion, but I am working on the critique section now - then comes the conclusion. I am struggling with how to critique the book given that I like it so much. I also have no clue how to combine these together.

+Dax Frost Sorry Dax, I don't. I mostly focus on speaking. The only advice I can give is to remember that a "critique" in literature doesn't mean the same thing as a critique of, say, a person's behavior. It's ok if you like the book, you don't have to find anything negative to say... you just have to give your interpretation and analysis of the story... are there deeper meanings, themes, etc... or whatever else you're covering in class. For the conclusion, just restate / summarize what you already said in the body... I have a formula for conclusions - you first restate your thesis, then restate the main points, tie up any loose ends, and end with something memorable (like a quote). Good luck!!! :)
I didn;t see where you went to center ---where exactly at the top do u go---also is there such a thing as APA outline and if so do i just set it up APA in the beginning ?

Does Outline work on an ANDROID tablet? I'm hoping to use Word as a kind of 'wiki' for writing up characters and places etc for a novel I'm working on. I need outline to work on my ANDROID tablet, but it doesn't seem to. How do I use larger documents without Outline view? I can't just jump around in the document as I can on my mac?

This is how to create an outline. Not a research paper. Outlines are used for speeches. Or, you might find it helpful to outline a paper or a project before you write it to organize your thoughts. If you're doing something for school, always follow the instructions your teacher gave you for formatting.

Misnamed. This does not use Word's outline function. It uses numbered lists. The bottom at the top, one to the right of the one she uses is the outline function.
It was created in Word.
