Welcome to a small new project, Brazos Square! In this project, I'm restricting myself to a 50x50 area to build an entire park! Brazos Square is a planet coaster park featuring a realistic park layout. This planet coaster series will contain several planet coaster realistic coasters and planet coaster custom buildings, planet coaster custom logos, and planet coaster pov videos. This planet coaster park will have small nods to Texas, including the name of the park and one of the main eateries.

Planet Coaster is a construction and management simulation video game developed and published by Frontier Developments. The game is a spiritual successor to the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and is perfect for the detailer, with the third game in that series having been previously developed by Frontier.

Thanks for the shout out ;) The coaster looks incredible too! Custom Supports are a pain in the ass, but they are SO worth it! You pull it off perfectly!
La Chupacabra or simply Chupacabra... the colors with the trenches just seem mythical or legendary. Also the speed and the way it snakes through the park looks like it is a fast moving predator.
This sounds familiar- name from the chupacabra house at Halloween horror nights Orlando?
I considered Chupacabra as well, but I think I'd need to change the colors for that.
Love the new coaster and have an idea for a name. Thrasher sounds physical and aggressive in a cool way. The Long Billed Thrasher is native to SoTex (if you don't call it that then I have invented the term) so works for the area idea and suspended coasters work well with flying themes (I have been on DW's Dragonflyer and its name fits). Colour the tracks light blue and make the surroundings sort of sandy/deserty with cactuses, a sort of pueblo lookin station building, and all that good stuff and I think you'd be set with something pretty darn tootin'

Enjoying the way the park is coming together! That balloon ride placement is *chef's kiss* With the way the STC jumps in and out of the ground, I can definitely see it being called something like Grasshopper! Looking forward to the next episode 👏
I like the name Flying Rattler for the coaster. Like New Mexico Rattler at Cliff's Amusement Park. A joke name for the coaster would be Snake Pit Dipper.

Nice job on the coaster! Idk if the color pattern fits exactly righ now but 'Diamondback' would fit the south-western theme.
Regarding the shops below the ride: Heide Park in Germany has had the same ride with facilities below. Like ~10 years ago, the ride was replaced with a chair swing. However, below the chair swing, there are still toilets and I think even a food option. Looks great and wants me to create my own Vekoma STC at some point!
Go away green is kind of hard to pin down and can be different depending on what you're using it on. There are go away blue and cream like colors too. The green colors I've used that I like are 87A097, 87A485, C35B48, 7FAA86 and 5A796A. Always impressed at how much you're able to cram into these little areas. it makes it feel so alive.
Name suggestion for the coaster: Kicking Cactus
for the balloon ride: Sunrise Fiesta
There’s a few balloon festivals in New Mexico. I think the best name for it would be Balloon Fiesta after the one in Albuquerque.
Maybe Fiesta del Globo, "Balloon Festival" in Spanish.
coaster name: kipling (from the tv show jessie, it was the name of on of the character’s pet lizard)

Really nailed it with this coaster. The supports came out great and were totally worth it, and the trench is super cool. Can’t wait to see what happens along the backside of those buildings. A southwest or Route 66 themed car ride perhaps with some 2d scenes on the backs of the buildings?

I love this coaster! Fits perfectly and the trenching in *chef's kiss*. My name suggestion is Snakebiter. Also Aeronauts has always been one of my fave flat rides. It's just pretty. Can't wait to see what's next.

Amazing work! I do like the idea of the shops under the flat ride. I played around with trying to stack flatrides but the footing was just too big, but that’s much less of an issue with shops. Nice idea!
the Iguana - put water at the bottom of the loop... maybe a gator, lol... or not.
Dragonflier at Dollywood is the smoothest Vekoma I've ever ridden.
An idea I had was to call it XLR-8 after the Arrow suspended coaster at AstroWorld in Houston. Then again you already have Boardwalk Bullet for the east side and a Dive with Dr. Diabolical's colors for the Austin-San Antonio Metroplex, so you still need to do something somehow connected to Over Texas
There's a balloon and music festival in New Mexico called White Sands and another called Red Rock Balloon Festival - Maybe a name like White Sands Balloons?

The back of the theater should have a higher ceiling (fly space) which is typical of classic movie theaters, many of which were previously vaudeville houses.
Coaster name: Greenjay! A green and blue bird native to Texas that dives around and can promote a “family friendly” thrill ride atmosphere that Vertex does not.

Gosh I want to go back to PlanCo so badly...but that little kid is draining my time haha
Maybe something like “steel stallion” for the roller coaster, but it doesn’t go too well with the theme. Something that might fit better could be “cactus crawler” to keep it family friendly. Another name could be “sante Fe sidewinder” or switch it with San Antonio

Yes, Move the flat ride and why not adding the shops below and to have enough space plan a path below the flat ride as well. Maybe a split, half capacity arround the ride, ohter half below. Love your work
Love this coaster!! Earned a new subscriber. I think the coaster name should be Medusa, since the green twisty-ness of the coaster reminds me of her hair. It’s also pretty intense so I thought it fits perfectly! 👌
it wasn't a shwarzkopf not a vekoma but the color scheme makes me remember Viper at Astroworld back in the day. New Viper? Son of Viper? or just some fun texas names. Texas Ranger. Hill Country Flyer. Flight of the Mockingbird.
Guttentag my schnitzel strom domf! You either want to eat it or just get the hell away from it, but I'll tell ya what...no ones ever asked MEEEEE about it!!! Once upon a time I was at a rave party when I told some girl my last name was Strom-gaush. As it turns out she told me Strom is actually German for electricity/current/power/stream/whatever it's German, translations aren't perfect. Klasienstein!!!! Who knew that I would be stuck leaving her and her friends at a random gas station, but hey life is full of beautiful lil surprises Dontcha think? But ride situations are what they are. Still think that facade should be on both sides and used to hide a dark ride boat ride for families called Brazos river run.
coaster looks super natural and purposeful. something like the "flying spur" might fit as the name for the coaster, painted maybe like a light baby blue, something about the coaster cutting down so close into the ground, and the southwest theme (stereotypically cowboy? maybe?) could be like the spur on the bottom of the boot
I was gonna make my own suggestion but I really like the spur idea. Maybe "Whirling Spur" for the consonation, but the cowboy boot + foot chopper combo is nice
Very nice STC you got there! Area looks great around it. Perhaps the entry into the helix is a little heavy on the lats but that's about it.

That balloon festival is in Albuquerque, which on its own wouldn't be a bad name for the balloon ride.
To cover up the back of the buildings, you could do a midway of games....
My favourite project just got an awesome coaster. Beautiful work, masked. Unbelievable how much you manage to cram into this park!

You could make a trench for most of the coaster track and call it the River Walk...
If it was me, I would've put one of the deleted episodes on the theater marquee

In the spot where you werent sure about putting a flat ride next to the coaster, i was thinking what if you put in a small arcade or maybe some sort of game plaza?
Albuquerque does have the Balloon Fiesta, assuming that’s what you’re talking about

I like the name “Golden Eagle” for the coaster (If you’re willing to change the colours to match)
For the coaster name you could do a play on words with Bexar (pronounced "bear") county where San Antonio is located
I'm totally with you on the coaster profiling. Unfortunately, it's just the reality of the game's coaster builder that taking the time to get coasters to ride super smoothly is an endeavor that takes hours and hours of tedious work that probably isn't worth it. In the end, I ride the rides like... Once after I build it and then once when my park is done? Not really worth it in the end. If it looks fine from the normal camera, it's good enough for me.

For the coaster, I was trying to think of a "Brazos x," to which I came up with The Brazos Boil Over, but if you wanted something that isn't branded with Brazos, then maybe Twisted Iron or my initial thought was The Winding Rattlesnake (you shouldn't reeeeeally need to change the color for any of these). And for the balloon ride, if you could theme it like a deck of cards, High Ace, since poker but also planes, and hot air balloons also fly. Its a connection all right?:)
FWIW, I like the tower where it is, and think you can dress the rest of that area with some smaller rides to go with the balloons, creating a family/kid type zone. Perhaps a canyon/tube ride or flume would give that space a "cool zone", where one could then hit up the coaster or tower to air dry.
Yeah, the issue is there aren't any other smaller rides save for some of the more fairground type ones that came with Classic Rides, and I don't think I really want to use those for this project. Thanks for the input, though--would love to find a place to squeeze a flume in.

Wow! That's your best coaster and the area is already looking incredible! Because it's secretly an arrow coaster you should call it 'Great American Green Machine' (actually don't do that but maybe make it a tagine for the ride?)
Love it as always. Small idea for the plot of land; elevate the cube ride (or on that's a tad shorter) so the shops are underneath it with the path going under as well. I can not for the life of me remember the park in Japan but I've seen that done. Smaller flat on top of the main path. For the Invert what about Asta (Bird) or Tsidii (Hawk) if your going Southeastern? I'm assuming your thinking of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta for the flat?
How about 'The Texas Rattlesnake' for the coaster?

The coaster needs some serious reworking after the helix! the corkscrew is too big and the turn is misshaped.
