I do echo and graduated in May. There are definitely days where every patient is hard lol. But there’s of plenty of situations I’ve been in where I realize how much better I’ve gotten as a scanner. I wouldn’t have been able to get that image when I was a student etc.
Hey Alex!! Congrats on recently graduating. That’s AWESOME! If you ever wanna come on the podcast sometime to share your story, let us know!
But I hear you. Soooo many situations where you’re like “dang!! I did that!” And it will keep on getting better and better. Keep doing amazing things!!!! Thanks for stopping by 🥰

I really needed this, last week was so hard to get through and I really need the push in view of Monday again tomorrow
I’m so glad you stopped by!!! You’re always welcome to ask for help and advice! 💖💖💖 You can do it, we believe in you!
This is the 2nd time I’ve watched this video. After getting hired at my externship site, only to find out it isn’t exactly the most welcoming place to work as a new employee, I really needed to hear all of this. I keep reminding myself that I just graduated 4 months ago and not to be so hard on myself. But when I’m expected to do as well as a veteran sonographer at my place of work really makes me second guess myself. I was given no proper training or orientation and got yelled at for things like asking questions. I ask questions to better myself and it makes me feel so uneasy knowing that I can’t even do that in my place of work where I’m supposed to be continuing to learn and do better.
I did very well in school and passed my SPI the first time. Now that my ARDMS for OB/GYN is just around the corner, it’s even more nerve wracking when I myself am starting to question everything I know due to the environment in my workplace. This video was really great for motivation and reminding myself that I’m not doing anything wrong. Thank you for this 🙏🏼
You are most definitely not doing anything wrong! I am so proud of you for all that you've learned and done so far. Be proud of yourself. Think of all the things you now know that you didn't know. You will continue to teach yourself things and hopefully keep on learning from others. I still learn everyday. You got this!!!
I love this so much and needed these encouraging voices. Thank you for being such a blessing 😊
Kalyn, stay PAWSitive!!!! 💖 I always need to hear these things, even as an experienced sonographer. Always come back when you need that push. Thank YOU for always supporting!! You’re the best!
Truly loved that last piece of advice. It isn't one you usually hear but so very true. A great reminder Kate!
Right? I loved it so much!! Kate is amazing! Thank you so much for stopping by and listening 🥹❤️
Really enjoyed listening to that last piece of advice! Overall, this was a wonderful and impactful video. I'll be using these tips when I graduate for sure! Thank you! :)
Thanks for listening and enjoying the advice, Amberly!! That's awesome! Can't wait to see you graduate soon!
I think one of the most valuable insights from the video is to get the registries done immediately after graduating, which is what I'm working on. I've heard that it can be incredibly difficult to work and study at the same time and some jobs do require it as close as 90 days from hiring.
I love that! You're right. Thank you so much for watching!
Whats your advice on new grads doing travel sonography? Can you do a video on that w sonographers experience and if a new grad can do it?
sure I can do that for ya!
👏👏👏
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for another informative and encouraging video!! How/where do I join the discord group chat? :)
Hi Natalie!! Appreciate you listening and learning!! DM me on Instagram or email me ❤️❤️❤️

New grad, i need to become faster. Any tips for that? I hyperfocus sometimes and loose track of time. Or i second guess myself on an image i should keep but then take again because im afraid the boss/Rad won't like it.
My tip for you is to assess the organ and area around it prior to taking photos. Take those moments to see if there's anything abnormal or sticking out to you. If it looks normal and fine, take your photos. You know what you're looking at when it's normal. Only when you're questioning yourself, slow down and take the time to assess.. in sag and trans. Then measure. You can always go back to take more images. But if it's normal when you first put the probe down, take the images and move on. Speed will come with time, so don't stress about that. The most important thing is that you're getting everything that you need!
🥰

Hi
Thank you for being here, David!!!! 💘
Did u told any baby gender ultrasound? How much it was clear of 100%? Pls kindly reply
we do not share the gender in the hospital - OBGYN offices do!
I’m in clinicals now and I feel like I’m not a good scanner 😞😞😞
Awww, Nara. Please don’t feel like that! It takes time. Believe in yourself and ask for tips and advice from your preceptors!! Every Sonographer starts off somewhere. You got this!! ❤️
