Alex dances like an episode of Twin Peaks. And I love it.
ooʞs ooʞs this whole thing screams twin peaks loll
This is exactly how I dance except I'm more shy. Props to Alex Cameron, because he just goes for it and doesn't care if he's awkward.
Great way to put it
Yesss!! Exactly!!
Alex dresses like hes from twin peaks
seriously now, i implore you! if you get the chance to see this guy live, DO IT! I saw him open for UMO, had no idea who he was. He was walking around the bar in a huge Texan cowboy hat and dollar store looking suit, next thing hes on stage with a beat machine and 1 guy playing sax, and absolutely murdered the room with his moves, and random stories in between songs..
nice. He seems to have a lot of stage presence even in these videos
Got to see him this past saturday, had no idea who he was but instantly toke a place among my prefered artists.
I'm gonna be seeing him open for The Killers! i thought I'd check him out beforehand and I am OBSESSED!!!
Damn now I wish I saw him without knowing who he was. I love it when I see people like that for the first time.. I saw EMA like that open for...wait for it UMO in denver. ...not knowing and amazed at how larger than life she was
Random guy on the sax? That's Roy Malloy! 😍
ALEX CAMERON IS THE BEST. His album is ADDICTING. LISTEN TO ALL OF IT. SEE HIM. GIVE HIM MONEY.
I bought that shit son.
him and kirin j callinan man, the best
Shashank Kumar right!? I'm obsessed with both of them at the moment.
australia has some great talent right now, hope they get more famous soon, they deserve it
Bounced on my boys D for hours to this
Rare to find an artist that makes music you love and dances the way you do.
2:56........ One of the best melodies to ever grace my ears
Listen to rock bottom by king Krule
Esteban Vazquez just did, thank you!
I think this is the "prettiest" part of all of his songs. It's SO good!
@@estebanvazquez1524 i agree, the bridge melody is cool as f
"Death is the pulse in your eye on your very last breath"
That is the best line in the entire album.
That is the best line ever period
Alex has THE BEST moves!
This guy is gonna be huge.
I love his dancing too! Alex Cameron taught me to have fun dancing for the first time since I was a child or even the first time in my life! Never really liked it before.
That dance is killer wow
love the cranes in the background aye
It's because of Roy of course :D
My 3 year old is obsessed with Alex Cameron's music b/c I'm always playing it etc; and I think in Runnin' Outta Luck he does some more of his usual dancing, but she kept asking .."Mommy why is he squatting???" and I said, "It's just part of his dance..." (trying to keep a straight face.) And now whenever she sees the thumbnail for Mongrel, she makes me play it and tries to dance like Alex...sorry for the long comment but I think it's really funny/cute and we love your music !!!
filmed in my childhood town! 🖤
Which town is It, please?
@@virechevarria1804 Constanta, Romania :)
@@nilscelrau thank you.:)
those subtle synths are sooooo good... i mean it seems like a legit 80's music video
This video is strangely mesmerizing...
Filmed in Constanta, Romania.
With those damned dangerous ass teeter totters, lol. Many painful memories with those...
Wow I could never have guessed with such beautiful colours.
Really???
That casino is one in a million 🙂
@@Robstar100 what did you think constanta would look like? Grey?
Just saw him open up for Thee Oh Sees at The Chapel here in SF. Someone on this comment list said "murdered the room" - which is spot on for what we experienced. Given the "genre" of the preceding opener and Thee Oh See's - which is post-punk, surf grunge - AC was a complete curve ball. At first - the audience was kind of stunned but then he just slayed it. A real original feel despite the comparisons to Byrne, Bowie, Nick Cave, Jagger and of course Christian Bale. I'd go see him for a whole show and pay top dollar. Hope he can jump the shark in the business and get the recognition he deserves.
agreed, he's very talented. hope to see him live sometime
Roland Deal I just found out about him by browsing CZcams and I'm really loving his music - as someone who really enjoys Nick Cave, this is great.
cut to a year later...
was it just him and a computer for the drums/keys? he's playing again in February and I'd like to go but it would be nice to see a full band.
I was at that show! He completely caught me off guard, but I was so impressed with his music I ended up bying his record on the way out the doors. I almost drove to California just to see him play again in LA (I'm from Vegas) but didn't have the time, unfortunately.
Masterpiece! I need more of that synth and solo.
Up there with the best of Alex Cameron, so so so so so good
Man, you are perfect. Look, sound, voice and dance! You rock!
this is my favorite thing at the moment. this moment is lasting.
This past weekend I saw Alex live in Minneapolis with Roy Malloy, the show they put on was absolutely fantastic, complete with a google chair review from Roy between songs. At one point the music box cut out, Alex and the audience sung and clapped the rest of the song Gospel style. One of the best concerts I'd ever seen
The start is like when you really don't know the opening act but you wanna show your support by dancing anyway
The best of everything at SXSW 2017 - haven't stopped listening to his stuff since!
Fantastic.
I love this song!! Keeps getting stuck in my head.
Seeing him live in St. Louis in November, can't wait!!!!!!
I had the pleasure to meet this guy in Budapest. He is gonna be huge!
One of my favorite tracks on the album.
Such a good song. Man that guitar/synth bit that comes in at like 2:50 sounds so much like an Eno bit off of tiger mountain or another green world
absolutely brilliant
This guy completely understands the 1980’s, and you can see from his videos it’s done with tongue in cheek
Amazing song !
Incredible Artist!!!!
This is addictive.. I can't stop listening to his music!
music CRUSH!
KING
Alex Cameron is fucking brilliant all round. As a human, writer and performer. And so is that badass saxophonist Roy for that matter.
And the girl sending beautiful pictures of her eyes who's actually a Nigerian dude
I had a history teacher in high school who looked exactly like him, always makes me giggle watching these music videos cus his personailty was just about the furthest thing from Alex Cameron
Come to Aussieland, you can do it, and include Perth!
I'm another Alex addict checking in. Just saw him in San Francisco and loved the whole show. Alex agreed (I'm pretty sure) to me letting to be his grandma. I'm too old to be much else but I'm a huge fan! What a fun guy and Roy's the bomb!
наконец-то, глоток оригинальной, интересной музыки, которую хочется слушать! Браво!!!
I didnt understand what you said but i liked it
@@saulbernalgonzalez7724 I’m not too sure either but the last word is ‘Bravo!’ So I think they liked it as well
@@JS-jc4cn thanks!
@@saulbernalgonzalez7724 she says "finally, a breath of original interesting music that you want to listen to, bravo!" - I'm glad to see people from around the world enjoying Australian music. 😃
@@tdb7992 haha thank you!!
Dingue!!! Ce mec est un génie!!!!
Lucius Malfoy seems to have great talent in music
Mr.Scintillant well he had to find a hobby waiting for a dark lord to return again
The movements he makes in the beginning part are trippy as, he moves like some sort of computer game character. great track by the bye.
Another bomb track from Jumping the shark. Deca-dance king.
Drops of blood in a green glass vial would visually cancel each other out making the drops look muddy brown. So cool! Love color theory I never thought of this until yesterday
*Perfect* !!!!!!
This song deserves more recognition
I enjoy this way too much
Oh... Génial!! Ma dernière grosse sensation.
Addicting very much!!!
Amazing
la grande classe, bravo
Aaaah how i love that guy!!! The way he dance and the drama in his expression is soo funny😂 and i love it!!! saw him for the first time in saint malo but i going to see him again in Amsterdam paradiso!! I became i fan!! he brings the 80's back!!!!XD
this is too good
Yessssssssss
this is awesome!
Screams 80's...but why not?
i listen to this everyday
I'm seeing him in Atlanta tonight, I am pumped.
Man, this video reminds me of watching 120 Minutes on MTV in the early 90's.....
Dude I just want to dance with this guys music!!!
0:49...that move! haha love
Saw Alex a few times now with The Killers. Love the guy.
i have this gut feeling that this song will eventually be used in Grand Theft Auto in some way. its the perfect song for it.
Used in “The Big Dog”
how did i only discover this now...
I feel like he's a guy with a look and a sound that comes completely from within existing 80s and 90s music. I wouldn't ever give someone this and say "you gotta hear this, he's doing stuff you've never heard before!!!" But it _works_ so well, I can't fault it really.
dang really good writing along with the music
I like his vocal.
Saw him live in Philadelphia recently and he didn’t perform this song. I was so sad 😞 This might be the greatest song ever. Dance moves included. I’m in my 40’s and I bust out these dance moves in random public places 😬
reminds me a lot of the moves Bowie was making in Lazarus and Blackstar videos
(and himself actually!!)
o cara e foda e a dança e mto engraçada
This is my favorite song/video! So cool. Also reminds me of Lucious Malfoy 😆
Very good.
he moves so swell
Alex and Roy Best Men Ever!
Es totalmente adictivo todo lo que hace.
TOP!!!!! WOW!!!
Very good live
Extraordinary live.
2m54s One of the greatest melodies and lyrics in music history - but we just don't know it yet.
NOW In 2018 i AM IN LOVE
Alex reminds me of Bryan Ferry. Hes so damn cool 🖤💕
He moves the same way I do when I'm pretending to be an alien to freak my teen kids.'Running out of time' is the best alien moves.
This clip is underrated
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
This has got to be my favorite music video. Nothing fancy but so effective. Lol I fuckin love it
COOOL
Gives me that strong urge to wear a trench coat while shuffling in place.
little bit of nick cave ft chromatics i like
Flamin Mongrel!
just found out you and happy to have found you !
🤣🤣 ABSOLUTELY FUCKING GENIUS !!! LOVE IT
mongrel mind for sure
before this song started i was a man, now after i heard it ,
i turned into a furry rabbit
Where is this shot? Insanely good backdrop...
Constanța, România
His dance moves remind me of the video for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow
Absolute Mongrelism
I knew I shouldn't have eaten those shrooms! Silly me thought the 80s were over a long time ago.
