We compare the graphics of Resident Evil 5 original on PC with the Xbox One HD version and the Xbox 360. Resident Evil 5 HD comes with all DLCs, 1080p and 60fps. It has a new camera mode called Customized which is not available in last-gen.

XB1 looks a teeny tiny bit better than the PC version.
Only shadows are noticeable though.
I wonder if the PC version is running at max settings since it could perfectly handle the higher shadows
It's probably something they've tweaked in the Xbox One version that they didn't make available at the time it was released on PC years ago.
I still prefer PC tho because it's at way higher framerate and resolution.

It does not matter so much in graphics and resolution. Virtually Resident Evil 5 on Xbox One and PC are identical to Xbox 360. I want to buy the Xbox One RE5 just because of the DLC's.

I still dig the 360 version the best, especially controls wise. Also I like the 30fps, easy for accuracy, and moving around. Since you stand in one spot while shooting.
Wow X360 looks pretty good
The only difference is the upscale to 60fps, the textures all look the same.

even though im part of the glorious PC master race, all three don't look very different, although obviously the PC version would have higher FPS and resolutions, but in terms of textures and lighting effects they don't look all that different
Not even a RE fan. But even with YT compression PC looks better and smoother.
Needs the .ini to be modified and adding a HDR setting to fix the shadows but its not that much of a difference tbh.

Serious VSync troubles with X360
I’m playing RE4 HD now on 360. And gonna play RE5 on him too.
Everything was always so hard to make out because, I think, nothing was shaded and everything was basically the same color. Make a "Realistic Color" pack instead of this "upgrade".

With better Settings on PC and everything is High End, (best graphic Card, cores with lots of ghz) surely PC would be better, dont Forget, every game was made with a PC.. so its the Hardware No 1 for best visuals, as Long you have the Money to buy such a Thing..

Yeah you can tell, but hey the 360 was in HD as well man. So I don't see where they get the HD title. They call it a remaster, which is totally NOT true. 360 looks and plays at a locked 30fps, which is clearly better here. The "ports" to new console jack up all over the place, with framerates. Nowhere near steady.

Pc gaming just did a reboot (Polaris & Pascal), It coudn't be a better situation. So much performance and really low prices. Consoles are going to have Polaris too, but is well known that the best tech and possibilities stay alway at PC.
