A fine regiment. My grandfather and other relatives served in the BSAP during the war. A great, brave and kindly man he was, the like not many was seen. Always fondly remembered. RIP Grandad.

The BSAP was a Magnificent Regiment. Sadly not to be repeated. From your “not so quite as good” and slightly rough and ready brothers in the SAP… the souties from SA !

That dog scaling that obstacle was really impressive. Very few humans can go over that obstacle.
I'd understand if it was a cat, they can twist their wrists and are far more agile. A cat wouldn't butcher the landing like that though.
I tracked a wolf earlier this year, and was amazed at how it scaled a cliffside. Beasts.

The British South Africa Police (BSAP) was, for most of its existence, the police force of Rhodesia (renamed Zimbabwe in 1980). It was formed as a paramilitary force of mounted infantrymen in 1889 by Cecil Rhodes' British South Africa Company, from which it took its original name, the British South Africa Company's Police. Initially run directly by the company, it began to operate independently in 1896, at which time it also dropped "Company's" from its name. It thereafter served as Rhodesia's regular police force, retaining its name, until 1980, when it was superseded by the Zimbabwe Republic Police, soon after the country's reconstitution into Zimbabwe in April that year.

Very like the Ulster Special Constabulary (B Specials) which was a part time auxiliary police that was here in Northern Ireland 1921-1970 just like BSAP the B men here had military style training and specialised in fighting against guerilla so they can fight Irish Republican terrorism my grandfather served 15 years in it unfortunately just like the BSAP they disbanded all thanks to Republican appeasement by the British government stripping the NI government placing us under direct rule in London while the BSAP was also disbanded by British government betrayal and heavy international sanctions for lowlife sub human commie appeasement. 2 great forces that will never be seen again but will live on in our hearts
