- Defiance cut hands grip, Thunderbike Side Mount License Bracket long, Screamin' Eagle 10MM Phat Spark Plug Wires orange, Thrashine mini floorboards, Vance & Hines Twin Slash 3-inch slip-ons crome.
Just came across this video, job well done on your street bob. I have the exact bike. Only difference no Harley on my tank, and I have Vance and Hines short exhaust on mine. I added the road warrior fairing and some knuckle Savers. I love my 107 her name is Sweet Elvira mistress of the Nimitz highway.

Nice mods. I keep looking/day dreaming about this bike but I don't need one and I have spent so much money on my 48 I am loathed to start it all again on a new bike! Thanks and look forward to the next Instalment. Maybe new Derby cover next time? I love the Brass collection stuff but gee expensive.

Hi Mark....I was in the same boat as you with my 48. I did make the jump in October to the street bob. Trust me you wouldn’t regret it. The street bob has just so much more to offer. Yes you have to start over again, and yes it isn’t cheap to do so. Although you might just enjoy making a new bike yours again. I know I did, my wallet wasn’t happy. Every time I jump on it, I wonder what took me so long to get a bigger bike? The M8 is a beast, and you’ll won’t miss the 1200.
@@Sirtorment1979 Thank you Torment 79 ( I think!). The 48 is all wrapped-up for Winter now, come the summer i will take another test ride on the Street Bob and see how i feel then. Funny enough I saw one in the wild so to speak today, black, looked awesome. Dam Harley Davidson! Enjoy your beautiful Street Bob.

Your bike looks great. I never should've sold mine. Do they have a black option for those floorboards? The stock pegs suck bad that will be the 1st thing I do when I get another bob.

How do you like those mini floorboards? I was thinking about getting some for the trip I’ll be taking in the Spring, it’ll be around 2500-3000 miles round trip and I think it’ll be nice to have a mini floorboard for that trip. They might be a little weird for me because I have forward controls but I could angle them a bit.
It’s always fun putting new parts on your bike, especially when it takes the comfort to the next level. My next BIG purchase will be a Shotgun Shock so I can customize the ride on the fly and not have to pull over, take the seat off to adjust what I’m needing at the time.

Its annoying to see a harley video and stereotype it..its like seeing a black guy work out and assume that we have to listen to rap music or a latino and think about mariachi...its stupid.
Some people like a wide variety of music. I can go from early 90's gangsta rap to death metal to solid country gold to classical to drum & bass to 80's pop. Too much good music out there to limit myself. The 60's and 70's were by far the greatest decades for music. Enjoy Drake though pimpin.
