We are using the javelot pro on piccatiny mounts on 223, 303, and 308, and they are awesome.
They run all night for us where we use a hid spotlight to pick up the mobs then we use the rifle mounted olight to shoot individually…2 of us shooting.
This has increased the number down enormously.

Very good review, I think you covered that well, lights and cameras always a bit difficult to compare but there was definitely noticeable differences in the images shown that were confirmed by your naked eye observations and commentary.

Enjoyed the vid. I liked the look of the Yellowish light over the Hot White. I guess it's my old eyes but I find the Hot Blue/White lights hard on the eyes. There's always that one Ninja Rabbit that can dodge a bullet! Had to laugh. Been there too many times :)

I auctully just orded the wxpro as the turbo is a little to much like a pencil beam for me but all weekend watching ty reviews olight is the why to go can't wait till I get it your video helped me heaps but I got a plan I can buy this turbo in a couple of months I save up cheers
Awsome Review Nathan, I only found this video after purchasing from Olight direct, however I got the Warrior X3 which is supposed to be better again than this one, time will tell !!

We were able last night(Saturday CA time) to make an order to where we bought the warrior x and got the javelot (for free!) javelot I plan to be my (truck light) and the warrior x I like the option to mount on my ruger .308 bolt scout that I want to build to hunt pigs 😜 I’m the guy from you patreon recently that’s been picking your brain on a scope 👍

Ah there's the link, Thanks Mate. That's an awesome combo and exactly how I'd run these lights myself. It's not often I'd need more range than the Warrior X Turbo but the runtimes for scanning on the Javelot Turbo I would definitely use.

Just the video I been looking for auctully seeing what's it's like on a rabbit hunt at night looking through a scope as im wanting one for mainly possums I reckon the yellow tint is best for possums and rabbits but I'll buy x turbo this pay day

Received my Warrior X Turbo a few days later. Amazed in the power compare to my older lights which I thought they were great this is awesome also love the magnetic mount cant wait to try this on .308. Keep up your vids great work. Cheers
They punch for such a small weight. I'll be interested on how it works with the new magnet mount and 308 recoil. They beefed it up recently and I reckon it'll stay on. The old one wouldn't on my 270WSM 😊
I have the warrior x low beam is great for 22lr .. high beam is good at a streatch to 400m though the scope for the 06 . Only targets at this stage

I personally like the yellow tint of the original javelot the white light is hard to see definition at distance and animals seem to pop more for my eyes 👀

Thanks Steve. Warm white definitely makes everything look more natural and show colours better than cool white. Saying that none of these lights are that warm. It's interesting to see the tints side by side that do show the differences.
Great review mate, a fellow hunter recommended using the red filter hunting wallabies. Have you tried out the filters and what are your thoughts on them?
Thanks Matthew. Have a look at my Javelot Turbo review. Theres a beam shot with the green filters in that video. The red is pretty terrible and TBH I wouldn't expect more than 100m range with that on the Javelot Turbo.

I got one when they first come out a few months back. I love it but haven't had many chances to use it a lot. Got 3 wild dogs the other night when using it. It would be better not being such a white light though. One annoying thing i find is there is a glow ring around the end of the reflector under the glass that glows for hours after using the torch. Did you notice this Nathan? Not sure if it would be a problem if stalking an animal in the dark. But other than that its a great compact shooting torch that punches out well beyond a good shooting distance.

Yes I did notice the glow ring. Seeing its quite dull and green isn't hugely visible to a lot of animals. I don't see it as an issue. Might be different though if you were trying to hide from someone.
Thanks. Pity i didn't get more. There were about 8 of them on the dam with a roo baled up in the water. Then most of them took off after another roo and 3 stayed behind. Was a hot night and they had been for a swim so the thermal was having a very hard time picking them up...
Yeah that's true. I haven't had anything spook yet so should be fine. Just a bit scared dogs would see it and spook as they don't miss much. An i usually like to stalk up pretty close before I shoot.
How did you remove the metal TGR and clip on the Warrior x turbo? I can't remove mine. Have tried several things but can't make it even budge.
I can't remember sorry. But it mustn't have been hard.

The Warrior beam looked like you were looking thru fog, any idea why?

They very well could be. Who knows what they have laying around and where it's from.
Wich beem would hold the rabbits better?
Lowest brightness settings will always work best. Sometimes uber intense lights can really push them away.
I’ve got the Warrior X Turbo on the way. I like the compact design. The glow ring is awesome too. I prefer a yellow tint.

If your looking for a real torch get a nitecore p30i you can see clear as day out to 600m
I don't like to buy Olight flashlights because it discriminated other products to be useable with it.
Olight are awesome. But I honestly think Nitecore are better. What are your thoughts?
I like them all mate. Hardly use lights other than to walk around now. And my headlight is a Nitecore 👌
