I didn't realize what a stellar video this was the first time I saw it. Really excellent and useful for the project, I'm currently working on. You communicate very clearly and put things in a way that people can understand. Nicely done!
Big Shout out to you.
Thank you for your time and thoroughness. I TRULY appreciate it
Amazing video. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us!
Wow, one of the best film videos I have ever seen. Glad I found your channel.
Videos are always so clean bro!
Appreciate your content. Appreciate you spreading your knowledge of the basics. You have a great way of explaining things so I get it more then other channels who are all about just teaching basics.
I want to say big thank you. You’ve just posted it in a right time for me. I’m looking for my first lens except of kit lens. This video helped a lot. Another thing I wanted to say is that I’ve learned a looooot of your videos. I want to shot music videos as well.Right now I’m focusing on small projects which will learn me something and check my abilities and abilities of my camera. For me you one of the best teachers about filmmaking on CZcams, you know how explain something to be so easy to understand. Thank you again mate! (You should think about some kind of course for us). Big up from polish guy living in UK! 🖤
As always, great video, and you really enlightened me on this tutorial!!!!!!
I love your channel. Thanks for all the hard work.
Hey YCImaging, I really REALLY appreciate your videos, and especially that you use diverse subjects with varying skin tones because most of these videos use models from the same kind of background, and it’s great to see how lenses and various lighting tips you give affect models close to my background! Thank you so much!
Downright the best explanation I ever got... Thanks man. Loving your vids
Wonderful simple and straightforward explanation with great support footage! Thank you for this.
Great vid. This is exactly why I just picked up an 85mm f1.8 (which is over 100mm on my crop sensor). A lot of people aren't hip to this. Great info
Bro I did the same thing! Using on a 60D so the crop is over 100 also! Lol!
Awesome video with straight to the point explanation. Thank you for your knowledge!
YC is honestly one of the most educating Videography YT channels. You can learn SOOO much from this channel alone.
Awesome explanation, very well done! Go on mate!!!
Wow, that was really helpful, especially the part with the lens compression! Thanks for sharing!
This is amazing I'm so glad I found your channel
Thankyou! I keep learning from you from every video you drop.
The face shape comparison blew my mind... I had no idea that made such a big difference! Thanks for this!
Awesome explanation man. Loved the vid!
I actually find this video very helpful! I subscribed to your channel long ago but didn’t hit the notification bell and I off course regret it now but may be it would be good idea for to remind viewers at the end of the video! Thanks for the video though! I won’t be missing your video from today!!

Great video. I’ve recently subscribed and I love the channel. Keep up the great work.
Always brining the heat! We appreciate the content bro.
Great video and explanation, I love that you showed the different aspects of the same framed shot with different focal lengths!!! That 100mm looks really good for a portrait shot!!!
Bro we love all the content, but these experiments right here are so dope man! Keep it going! A lot of folks arent hip to this. This is what betters the creative community. Btw I knew what the reasons were before clicking on the video & still found it informative! Good stuff.
Been watching your vids for time man, can I just say this is probs your best! It's so concise and your visual examples are bang on, plus your lighting is looking so good these days. Buzzin to see more!
Thanks George, I appreciate that!
Good presentation in the explanation. Your speaking rhythm conveys a command of the subject matter, and the visual demonstrations help to clarify your point.
great video and wonderful explanations! Thank you.
Thanks for refreshing my mind on that and the examples are great.
Another awesome video dude. Great advice as always!
This is hands down my favorite video from you. Keep it up.

Super helpful info! Thanks man!
Great vid! Dense right to the point and very informative, thanks!
This is very great info. You teach very literal and clearly. Easy to understand and not “dumb”. Thank you for your time.
Great points YC, Choosing the focal length was so important when we were shooting a lot of model work as well as magazine work where we would use the compression to shape and hide what we didn’t want.
Very good of you to make this topic for your followers.
Cheers, Pete.
Thanks Pete
Nice vid! ENJOYED you calm teaching style.
I have heard people talk about this before, but really like the comparison you did at the different focal lengths to see the difference. Great video.
