- The 2024 GMC Hummer SUV was better than I thought it would be. Today we do a full review of this $105K Hummer that has 830HP and 1200 lbs torque. We crab walk, do launch control ( which GM calls "watts to power") and much more.

reminds me of the FJ Cruiser with those 3 wipers. in a world where the cybertruck exists, the Hummer is suddenly the less offensive looking option

Everyone wants to talk about the weight of a Hummer, no one ever mentions the impressive engineering or what it’s capable of _despite_ its weight though. GMC put the world on notice with this thing! 😅

Hey Mike, you didn’t mention anything about the size of the wheels and tires that are on the hummer and how long is it expected to run on a full charge? How many miles per electrolytes does it get?

Hey, I don't know if u've tried it or not. What about testing propane, butane, Av gas(prop planes fuel) in danger ranger, I think that would be cool.
As you say, it makes sense that those panels make noise when making rapi left to right steering inputs and moving at speed because the roof of a vehicle is an important structural member (in that the lower body connects to it and it helps to give the body stiffness) so if you remove it and replace it with four glass/plexiglass panels some flex - which results in noise - should be expected.

@@punksjutgbd I’d never buy an electric vehicle , even if they didn’t catch on fire and were dirt cheap to operate , I live in a cold winter climate , saw a video about 2 years ago , Guy from Gladstone Michigan driving to Marquette Michigan , left with a full charge at about 10 degrees that day , 76 mile trip , and his Model Y was outta juice when he got there !

A 55 hour charge time on 110 is utter madness. Very cool truck though.
Not really. That's level 1,which is literally a standard wall outlet. Level 2 at 10 hours would be overnight, which is fine for most daily usage to and from home.

As you said Michael , very cool SUV but still the classic problem of charging time , wich doesn’t make sense until the science give us a new kind of long life charge -ish ,batteries , we still not there yet

Can a car run on premix alone without engine oil and how long will it run, Premix is 2 stroke marine oil mixed with unleaded fuel for 2 stroke engines that don't use engine oil.😅

Toyota 2006-16 fj cruiser had a three wiper setup
People always forget the about the FJ😒 My 08' FJ has been one of the best investments, never had any major issues, just normal maintenance and i'm like 600 miles shy of 100K. This reminds me of a super beefy FJ.

For the Hummer to be that heavy for the weight of the batteries, you have to have a lot of horse power & torque to get up & go.

Great video Mike but the hummer is not my type of suv, I so much prefere the F150 Rapter and Rapter R sorry mate also not a fan of EV's as the chage time needs to be reduced massively as filling up at the gas station is still far quicker and better range 👍
I mean they charge pretty quickly now,0 to 80 in 30 minutes, one convenient thing is if you have a charger at home you can just go straight home and charge without having to make an extra stop at the gas station.

Three windshield wipers have little to do with width but more about the lack of windshield height. An fj cruiser has three wipers as well. Cmon man. Think thru it. 😅
I Only go hybrid never full ev 50 hours almsot two days to charge a car is crazy. not manypeople have a 440 volt plug on there house. I stay to my gas powe caddy silverado and mustang fro 1965 it a nice car but dany the chargine time i be going crazy.
If you're gonna review electric cars you should include the charging - don't just go "Hey I gotta get this back because it's running low..."
i dont think he does much prep for his reviews...seems like he just wings it.... unlike doug who knows every little detail and history of the cars he reviews...

Like any EV the range anxiety and the panic that comes with running low on charge is a big down side .
Yes it's a fun Toy ,but not a workhorse It looks cool but as with all new vehicles the tech side of them may cost you an arm and two legs if they fail .
Limited market ? If you have the wealth to buy it ,run it and possibly loose with the depreciation that EVs are now showing then it's all good .

looks cool - but I honestly do not think than any GM vehicle is worth 105k - from my experience - GM always, always has something wrong with it. Only time before this one leaves you stranded as well.

These electric vehicles are going to have to improve and fast. If a car weighs 10k lbs now and takes 2 days to charge that’s just not going to work for anyone! It’s almost a joke if you look at it practically, plus it’s cost to purchase I mean come on world get it together, not everyone is a bitcoin millionaire!?
