What was special about New Williams' dunks compared to Elvin Rodriguez's ones? How did he win the other dunk contests? He just jumped over people with windmills with the occasional between the legs that has been done countless of times by pro dunkers.
Isaiah, still flying above the competition! Even if we put aside his amazing technique, since he’s smaller than most of the other guys, he has to put more explosivity jumping, and it makes all his dunks more impressive. When you’re tall, you gotta jump from further to impress! Kadour Ziani is one of the best example with his 360 cobra 🐍 .

Just imagine the unreal contribution that would be created if these guys were all celebrated, like celebrities, for graduating from Medical School, Dental School or became recognized as Wall Street geniuses or perhaps got promoted to Captain(while being trained as jet fighter pilots); blacks would be placed on such a high level of respect that this alone would shift the vibration of the the world alone !! But, for now, I guess we have to settle for these guys jumping to dunk a basketball instead of jumping through hoops to become a heart or brain surgeon...😏

all I'm saying is: Isaiah did a windmill over someone and got 9's, but then New Williams did the same dunk after him, and didn't jump as high as isaiah, but got a higher score... and not all of it was the judges fault...only having 3 score cards makes it way too hard to do it accurately

Ya I have no problem with giving out 9's and saving the 10's for something spectacular. I just thought it was weird that New Williams did a weaker version of Isaiah's dunk, and got a higher score. Like usually if you duplicate a dunk that's already been done in the contest, you get a lower score, unless you do something extra with it. But regardless of that...they really need to start giving judges the option of scoring 1-10...none of this 6-10 or 7-10 stuff. It's impossible to judge with that type of limited scoring
didn't Isaiah once say in a video that the push off (double up) dunks should not be allowed in dunk contests? Now in the last two contest I've seen he pretty much only did double up dunk variations. I mean he definitely deserved the win here but I'm just saying it's a bit weird...
It's actually not that weird...Even tho he may think that they shouldn't be legal, for the time being, they are...and if you *don't* use them, then your chances of winning will greatly diminish...Especially against guys who almost exclusively push off for dunks. So as long as they're still allowed, he will use them. But long-term, I think we all believe they should be allowed, with the understanding that they should be scored lower than if you did the same dunk without a push

Everybody was blocking the scorers table, so it was hard to film. Judging was pretty bad tho, but it ended up not mattering
