I spent like 3 hours on Deacons leveling as a glass cannon sorcerer. I wish I had access to the buffed Pestilent Mercury, would have made my struggle so much easier.
Honestly, how hard would it've been to make Vilhelm an actual boss? Just tweak the move set a bit and have Yuka Kitamura provide another fantastic composition?
@@rambo-cambo3581 Neither of them are NPC boss fights: they don't use the player template and have completely custom movesets. I assume he means stuff like the Graverobber trio in DS2 or Champion's Gravetender in DS3. NPC fights in Soulsborne games generally aren't too good, because you can't finely balance a fight with them like you can with a boss whose reach, timing, patterns, etc. you make from scratch. Generally all it comes down to is FromSoft bloating their stats.

You can also use the binoculars as a scope, since it lets you aim the camera freely. I use the binoculars usually to snipe an enemy on top of a cliff or hanging on a wall with a crystal soul spear.

Is it just me or is the Sorcerer the worst class for PvE? It seems to me that the majority of bosses are resistant to magic. I always find myself having a really hard time completing the game as a sorcerer compared to all other classes. 😑
It’s a speedrun lol, the entire point is trying to finish the game as fast as possible (with only sorcery as clearly stated), summoning just makes no sense as it wastes time.
The Talking Stick some gamers use Save Quit strats others don’t. I’m just not a fan of it. Mad respect for beating the game soo quick using only sorcery, GG.

It's actually decent, since using the staff's WA buffs it's melee attacks, you can just stack defense and become the true Pimplord of Cinder.
