- This Black History Month, we’re celebrating some of #TheMostSearched moments and individuals in America. To find them, we used U.S.-based Google Trends Data to identify Black American achievements that were searched more than any others between January 1, 2004 - when U.S. Search Data first became available - and July 1, 2019. Here’s to the history makers and all those they continue to inspire.

I'm also aware of the whispers of racial discrimination within the company however, I can applaud the creativity and the beauty of this production. Perhaps this conversation should be had about many companies? Then again, I'm just simply enjoying the video and I hope it is stepping them in the direction to diversify. It's just wonderful to see "US" being celebrated... enjoy.

It’s reflecting the stats about how black people dominate the most used search engine used by the world. That’s not giving us a “little attention” rather just stating the facts about our dominance in culture. If saying ‘Yes Google’ is akin to praising the end of world hunger, you failed in reading comprehension.

We used this video as the inspiration for our Black History Month display in my office this year. Our BHM project last year had a whole lot more notable and unsung individuals and events in it (including MJ and Hendrix) but some of ya'll are completely ignoring the title of this video. This video is not about the most popular black idols (although a lot of them are here) but who was most searched in a particular category over a particular period of time. If it wasn't MJ or Hendrix or your favorite, I'm sorry but as one of only a handful of black people in my office (in a County position), this video made me proud as hell. Good job Google!

So, you are mad that Michael broke all of the white mans records I see. How bitter. Before you can disagree, I will show you that he did.
Before I get into all the accomplishments, his songs are timeless and mix many genres. Although he is the King of Pop, he can’t really be put into any specific genre, because pop just means popular music, and he tapped into all of it; from rock to rap to soul to funk to gospel to new jack swing to hip hop to African etc... This gave him mass appeal to where people of all genders, ages, races, nationalities, and religious could like his music. At his concerts there were people aged 2 to 102 of all genders, races, nationalities, and religions. As soon as Michael stepped on stage he would just stand still like a statue for minutes, and there were already hundreds of fans fainting and thousands more screaming and crying before he even sung a note or moved a muscle. There were buff and really masculine manly men fainting and crying at his concerts. He was undoubtedly the most famous non religious person in the history of the world. There was a tribe in the Amazon Rainforest with little outside human contact and no internet access that didn’t know about any of the World Wars nor the moon landing, but they knew who Michael Jackson was. He was a musical genius that despite contrary belief could play piano, guitar, drums, bass, and synth and has credits for playing them on some of his songs. He says songs would just fall into his head. First he would hear the beat, then the chords, then the lyrics which he would sing into a tape recorder rather than writing them down. Then he would sing each instrument part to their respective musicians until they played them like he heard it in his head. He had a four octave vocal range that could easily flow to falsetto and really high notes, as well as really low notes, although he rarely showcased the lower register. He could mimic almost any instrument with his voice and was an excellent beat boxer. His unique and iconic fashion still continues to inspire and influence current generations. Some of his most notable fashion moments include his fedora hats, one white sequin glove, military jackets, high water dress pants with long white socks and black loafers, the letterman jacket, red leather jackets, clothes with lots of zippers on them, clothes with lots of sequins on them, stripes on his pants, tape on his fingers, etc.. His dancing was a mixture of ballet, tap dancing, robot, James Brown, mime, pop locking, and Michael’s own iconic style all rolled into one. His dance moves are still copied today. Some of his signature moves include the moonwalk, the robot, the spin, the kick, the 45 degree lean, the toe stand, the side walk etc… He made music videos popular by making his into iconic mini movies that are still copied today, especially their iconic dance sequences. He was an icon in every way from music, to dance, to fashion, to movies/music videos. He inspired all artist that came after him in some way. He also broke almost every record in the music business

In a 2014 court deposition, James claims he didn’t figure out that he was abused until 2013 (coincidentally after Wade Robson field a multi million dollar lawsuit against a dead mans estate. They also coincidentally share the same lawyer.)
* Wade Robson claims he was first molested by Michael while his family was away at the Grand Canyon. In a 1993 and 2016 court deposition, his mother, Joy Robson, states that her whole family, including Wade, went to the Grand Canyon
* wrong pictures of MJ celebrating acquittal. He was in different clothes (unembellished black suit and white shirt) on acquittal day and didn't celebrate ; ’

This is implying that James committed perjury, because in a 2014 deposition, James clearly stated the abuse stopped in 1992.
Wade was denied a chance to lead choreography for MJ's Cirque du Soleil show in 2011; he then sued the MJ estate for $1.2 billion (judge threw the case out of court twice, and now that the documentary aired, he is filing for appeal) claiming sexual abuse
