Vucs three point shooting declining since coming to the bulls is one of the tragedies we’ve had as a team.
He’s nothing more than an undersized big that cant shoot good enough for him to be a good undersized big. Bulls need to blow up the whole franchise

Vooch was a beast before he came to us. Markkanen was an all star after he left us. Derrick Jones Jr is playing his best basketball of his career now with Dallas and so on. Maybe just maybe we are the problem not the players.
Lauri is on a team that has to play him regularly. We have so many defense deficient players playing Lauri would be problematic.
I'll give you Derek Jones Jr because Dallas Kidd knows how to get the most out of him.

Jonas Valanciunas is a free agent. Maybe New Orleans will consider Vucevic.
Hot take but a team like the 76ers could use them. If Embiid is injured they can play it safe and trust Vuc to at least play at a high level. But also, I think Vuc and Embiid can pair up for a solid PF/C duo since they both can space and rebound well. But like I said… hot take

@Bulls Central Go back to the archives… Remember when I said at the start of the season that it was going to come down to this? Bulls are circling back around on Mitchell Robinson (NY Knicks) because of all of the players NY has to pay now and I’m hearing they are showing interest on POR’s Grant another player that I also mentioned. That Grant situation boils down to if the Bulls want to pay 80 M’s for Pat Williams.

DeMar is the only one that actually makes sense to keep and re-signing him helps the young stars coming up and he provides good leadership and efficient scoring. He is the only one we should keep
I have no problem with trading or keeping him. Carter Jr. was not a loss really...and at the time we'd need to send out at least one pick for Vuc, anyway. So we're down one FRP pick for him. We can make that up. And his shortcomings are not all on him as evidenced by having a 6'5 guard starting next to him at PF and needing to play TWO centers at the same time sometimes just to give us some size. The Bulls have 99 problems and Vuc is ONE of them. But he's here and ours. Fix some of the other 98 and Vuc will look quite better.

@@anthonychristianson411 Yeah. You know he wasn't a bargain but not our biggest issue, either. Viable NBA centers don't grow on trees and he's one of them. All we can do is wait for next season and hope the team is different.
You know we can always trade him back to the Orlando Magic. We're not going to recoup what we lost for trading him. But Orlando is a good fit for him.

You buy out someones contract lol its really simple but Bulls have a cheap front office they are not gonna give Vuch 40 million straight up to buy him out and pay money for another center.

I think the Nuggets could use a real backup center for Jokic, since it is more than evident that they don't have good fire power coming off the bench. But Nikola's value is a second-round pick, tops. So, I think that Vucevic could fit in a lot of rosters in today's NBA the problem is the salary...
I didn't like this trade when they did it! They gave up too much for a older slow veteran! Didn't mind giving up Carter jr! Also didn't like trading Gafford either! AK traded for the wrong big man!!
I believe the 76ers would be a perfect fit for Vucevic, they have the most cap space in the NBA and they need a reliable big on offense to start with embiid or Vucevic can backup embiid, that trade would prepare the sixers for bigger lineup teams like Milwaukee, Minnesota & Denver

Vuce may not be a great rebounder but he can score and he manages to stay healthy for most games. I'm OK with Vuce staying.

It’s time to discuss Pat Williams contract situation. Bulls should wait to see what TOR and other ball clubs are offering before signing him. Just keep in mind that Pat could command 80-90 million. Hunter set the market at his position. This is going to take 2 to 3 seasons tops to fix. We’ll revisit this soon.

Long story short…this FO in 3.5 years has really done a number on the Bulls present and future by their poor drafting, trades (and lack of trades), and contracts. They’ve pretty much hamstrung the team into irrelevance and mediocrity.

I immediately thought of OKC. They just lost to the Mavs due to a lack of size, they need rebounding and they can make up for his deficiencies on defense. Vooch, Holmgren, Williams, Dort and Shai is a championship level starting 5. They even have the capspace to absorb the contract. Literally no risk for them.
The risk is why go for an old bum like vouch and just try for like Jarrett Allen or Nic Claxton

Why go for Vuch who is a bad defender can't shoot anymore and doesn't have any quality apart from layups and dunks and rebounding. Who is also declining and does not fit there timeline what so ever.
