Miyako's favorite track on the album. She has an EP coming out in June of piano covers of Metallica, Gary Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Helloween, Deep Purple, and Lovebites. That's the Victor dog Asami displays. The "doko doko" sign Midori holds up is a reference to Haruna's speed bass drumming.

@@waterwalker9600 Be interesting to hear how Miyako arranges metal/rock tunes for solo piano. There was a jazz trio (acoustic piano) that Saki played with a couple of times covering metal tunes, but that was four musicians. Miyako's on her own.
@otobokegaijin6218 MIYAKO is a musical savant. Can't wait to hear that composition. Sounds so cliché, but she really is on another level, isn't she.

They are THE band that I have immense difficulty choosing a favorite song because they are composing a masterpiece after masterpiece after masterpiece. But this song is I think one of their finest moments.

I love this band. I only know what I see on screen, but they seem to be a tight knit fun loving bunch. Seeing the elite level musicians humanized like this makes my cheeks hurt from smiling.

I saw their livestream last Sunday... I can confirm that on stage this song is simply timeless... Moreover, Fami's performance is even more prodigious than on the studio version.

As for "Soldier Stands Solitarily", I had a demo of it when I was working on the "Glory, Glory, to the World" EP (2021).
It had a completely different shape than this one, except for the chorus.
The chorus was punchy and had a good melody, so I wasn't satisfied with it as it was.
This time, I restructured it and reincarnated it.
In Miyako's mind, she thought the BPM was too fast, so Miyako said in her mind to Haruna, "I'm sorry," "If you lower this BPM, it will feel different!" He said.
So in Miyako's mind, Miyako said, "Haruna can play at this BPM," and"If you don't play like this, it won't sound cool!"
With that in mind, Miyako entered the bass line into the software.
Japanese women and children hold up the index fingers of both hands and place them on either side of their head in a "demon" pose, making a "I'm so angry!" and make a "kawaii" expression.
At an album presentation at her home, Miyako said, "Asami & Haruna, I'm sorry! and wrote it down and projected it on the screen.
The belt Miyako requested for Asami was too high and the BPM Miyako requested for Haruna was too fast, so I think Miyako lovingly apologized to Asami and Haruna with a handwritten message panel on the screen.
I wondered if Asami and Haruna's hands on either side of their head was in response to Miyako's apology. Thanks for confirming my theory.

Awesome track and video. I wonder why they didn't just call it Solitary Soldier as that crops up in the lyrics so much. Soldier Stands Solitarily seems an unnecessary tongue twister. Unless that's Asami's intention 🤣🤣.

I think that this could be only song that they couldn't play live. Its too hard on the vocals, especially drumms, tempo is too fast. M & M could pull it out but others maybe, maybe not. Its on a Dragon Force level songs that even they never play live-pure speed power metal madness. AND I LOVE IT!
Having said that, Miyako has said in an interview that she wrote it specifically to be played live and she's looking forward to doing that. So... we'll see...
I can't wait to see them do it live!
