Thank you for sharing the Roon basics! Roon to CAS/ streaming is like Microsoft Windows to PC ( or OSX to Mac). It gives you access to your music libraries with metadata support like no other. It is probably the most straightforward server app to set up, best community and tech support, and one of the cleanest sounding app. available. For starters, stay on the "purple star" don't use DSP until you are familiar with the settings. If you can add a streaming service (i.e., Tidal, too bad Qobuz is not available in HK yet), Just enjoy and explore all the music!

@@feverSoundHK they don't know what they are missing? It is not going to make streaming sound like a turntable, but if you love music it would be the best tool you can have 🙏🏻

國仁兄，請問如果有兩個裝置都下載了roon core，roon容許用1個 license 隨時轉換用嗎？如果轉完後會唔會冇唒入面啲資料呢？

你要先把原來的DATABASE SAVE到兩個CORE都存取到的地方，例如NAS，就可以整個資料庫搬來搬去，至於License，對的，只可以同時間一部裝置執行Roon，我開幾個Core比較，都係需要授權一次先可以，不過都係等幾秒就完成。

Recently Can Not connect Tidal using Roon! They claimed to fix the issue a.s.a.p.

早兩星期有事，現在無事呵，我在香港昨日才用緊

@@feverSoundHK I use Elac Discovery Server and my app is RoonEssential. Fail to connect Tidal account for nearly a week by RoonEssential app. Login Fail: Bad Username or Password. Of course, my password and username are correct as I can connect to Tidal using it's app.
