I think I get how they blow now. You see it's not so much damaging the material, but rather, the wires in the plastic ring are shorted (to create a circuit that the magnet can interact with) and then aren't moving fast enough or far enough to burn off the energy being poured into them and it burns of the thin wiring used for them breaking the circuit
sorta it's cuz when theres to much power and it gets to hot somewhere in the coil it will break but yea if they can't move it will speed it up because it can't remove the heat as well by moving
