Simple fact is, it doesn't work. That smart tint is intended for residential use, not automotive use. With automotive tint, it is hard to see in it, but you can still see out of it due to the difference in light. That electric tint would make both sides opaque, you may not be able to see in it, but you wouldn't be able to see out of it either.

Was your smart tint idea using the PDLC film? Kicking around ebay it seems like it would still be hundreds per window you want smart tint on, which aligns up with the estimates in the description of $1200-$1400 for 4 windows with this method vs 2 with the other guys. Please confirm if its the same and if you found a cheaper source?

I’m willing to bet that tint was never installed. There’s a good chance it is too thick for the window to go up and down plus it’s almost impossible to cut it accurately without removing the piece of glass first. Cost of removing and replacing the glass was too much for him even though he apparently makes 40k per month. I’ve been in the window film industry for 25+ years and I’ve met more than a few guys like this. They want what they want and sometimes they are left with a pile of tint in their garage for sale.
I'm really curious about adopting the smart tint idea. If you can put me onto any leads, I'd be really appreciative. Thanks man, keep on your biz

The trim around the doors and hood is not the business bro. Spend your money on a few quality mods not all this way out whack stuff....just saying

It’s a worthwhile project. As I mentioned on the video… Between my high producing business and my family Time is just getting the best of me. Someone needs to have this baby though. So I’m putting it up for adoption
