The purpose of that bed is to haul gear and equipment. We didn't need it to dump.
if only they could make one with a crew cab it would be so clutch for that extra cab room for equpt.
The 2500 AEV edition is normally a Crew Cab 6.5' bed.
The Ram AEV Prospector XL tray bed is my favorite truck currently. I'm glad to see GMC getting this treatment as well. Would love to see a Silverado HD version.

Perfect truck! I've been waiting for this AEV treatment on GM trucks for a very long time. If this has lockers front and rear, that would be sweet! The only thing I would really like to see different. Would be portal axles, as well as a larger power inverter. Maybe 3000w
They should have put the tire carrier on the passenger side. I wonder if this bad boy has a rear locker?

That 40" tire would take up a lot of space. The idea would be this truck could haul a bunch of gear or fuel during a trip.
