Straykids saved my life and many others. Their music is the best to turn to when you are having a dark day.
a bit of trivia: Chris’s father was a coach for the special olympics swim team. Chris would often get dragged to work with his dad after school and on weekends.
Chris said, that is where he learned that everyone on this earth deserves love and to be accepted for who they are. Everyone is beautiful.
He wanted to help people as much as possible and he chose to do that with music. At the age of 13 he auditioned for JYP and moved to Korea to become a trainee. And it took him 7 years to get the chance to make his own group and not only did he do that, He managed to get a self -producing group that can get his message out there to people.
And he is doing it. It blows my mind that a child’s mission, a dream to help people could come true like this.

This song has helped me through so much and I will always be grateful to skz for it! Some other of their songs that have really helped me are you can stay amd sunshine as well as a couple skz records like cause I like you, alien, and little star. There are a lot of other very meaningful songs from them but those are the ones that have touched me personally!

Hi Max, continuing on this mental health journey. Please please please react to Stray Kids Player video “Streetlight”. Such an important message about mental health and its effects. Written and sang by one of the members, it alludes to the tiredness one feels and the cries for help. Many suspected this was written when 1 of their members left (rumors due to problematic behaviours) and the effects its had on him and others. I have cried to this. And many have as well.
