    I hope that you can understand English. If I'm going by the notes of the bells, the notes of the bells has got to be cis" h' a' gis' fis' e' dis' cis' h°. Also, can you do another video of this church and can you do it in inside view where I can see all of the 9 bells going in close up view? I'm really wishing to see those 9 bells going in close up view.

    • @meme2702
      @meme2702 Před 8 lety +1

      +Video Lover (I ♥ Videos) Thank you. The note of the smallest bell is d'' and not cis''. The original peal of 5 bells (cis'' a' fis' e' cis') was completed in 1909 with the other 4 bells. It is not possible to do a video in inside view because the bells are placed on 4 stages and you can not move when the bells are ringing.

    • @videolover2014
      @videolover2014 Před 8 lety

      Romeo Dell'Era Also, if the smallest bell is d", then that means that the order of the bells is instead d" h' a' gis' fis' e' dis' cis' h°. Is that right?

    • @meme2702
      @meme2702 Před 8 lety +1

      So are you using the German system? The correct notes are d'' h' ais' gis' fis' e' dis' cis' h°. They are written in the Italian system in my description of the video.

    • @videolover2014
      @videolover2014 Před 8 lety

      +Romeo Dell'Era Oh. Ok. Sweet. And I guess so for the German part. I normally don't speak German. But I do like the notes of the bells that they put in the description so people can know what they'll sound like. Did you see the videos to where it can give you some ideas about this church? I am dying to see these bells ring in close up view. :-D
      How come that the #1 video of it was shorter and the #2 video is just a picture with the sound effect? I'm just curious about it. Also, since you told me the correct notes for the bells, I got 7 of the 9 bells right. The 2 that I got wrong were cis" and a' (Those 2 bells turned out to be d" and ais' instead.). Now that I know what these bells are, I should figure out on the other bells too. I'll be sure to give you some comments and see if I can get the notes right when I'm ready or when I'm up to it. Be sure to tell me how many notes that I can get right for the bells. :-)

    Hey.
    We haven't talked in 2 years.
    I have a Question to ask you to my curiosity.
    Do you still live in Switzerland?
    If so, then I have a Question to ask you about this Bell Tower in Lugano, Switzerland.

    • @meme2702
      @meme2702 Před 6 lety +1

      Yes, I do. Which question?

    • @videolover2014
      @videolover2014 Před 6 lety

      ???
      Anyway, I'm still thinking of how I would see the 9 Bells close up inside the Bell Tower with the Counterweights, the Wheels, the Motors, plus seeing them ringing close up as well.
      I know you usually can't move around during the Bell Ring and that you'd have to stand in 1 spot, but if there was a way, I can see all the 9 Bells ringing in Picture-In-Picture view at the exact moment so I can see what all the 9 Bells look like while they're ringing.
      When I look at Pictures of this Church, the Pictures to where I would see the Bells inside the Bell Tower, in these Pictures at www.dreamstime.com/royalty-free-stock-photo-lugano-clock-tower-switzerland-ancient-image33907385 & www.dreamstime.com/royalty-free-stock-image-lugano-clock-tower-switzerland-image33907376, it looks like that the fis' (Fa#3) Bell on the top (Round) part of the Bell Tower uses a different Counterweight, which is a Wooden Counterweight.
      That's why if I can see a Video of all the 9 Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower, I can get a better look at all the 9 Bells as they're ringing.
      So is there any chance this month that you can try a Full Version Video of the Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower so I can see the Bells close up, or a Full Version Video like that from someone you know?

    • @meme2702
      @meme2702 Před 6 lety +1

      Your ideas could be interesting, but this is a cathedral church, so it is very complicated to have the permission to enter the tower. I did it two times and it took me a lot of time and work with bureaucracy. Anyway, it would be totally impossible to move inside the tower when the bells ring. You can have more information about these bells and this bell tower in this article I wrote two years ago: www.academia.edu/29215398

    • @videolover2014
      @videolover2014 Před 6 lety

      Well, yes, it is impossible to move around the Bell Tower when the Bells are ringing, but if you look at these 3 Videos at czcams.com/video/K0tu1D2Gvl0/video.html, czcams.com/video/KvjOJ7EZK3o/video.html, czcams.com/video/kIfatVEK2YU/video.html, you can do several Videos at different moments as you're standing at 1 part of the Bell Tower at a time during each Bell ring or so, but if you also look at this Video at czcams.com/video/0t7YCQvRYsA/video.html, you can have 3 Camcorders with you and you can set them down on all the 3 parts of the Bell Tower aiming at the Bells while they're recording so you can get all the 9 Bells in 3 separate Videos at the same time & moment, then when uploading them to here on CZcams, you can, probably before, at, or so that you can merge those 3 Videos together in a Picture-In-Picture View so all the 9 Bells can show in 1 Video, like a 3-In-1 Video while you're seeing the Bells ringing inside the Bell Tower.
      There are some ideas for when doing Videos of the Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower while it's impossible to move around at the same time and that you'd be standing in 1 spot every time while the Bells are ringing.
      Although it's impossible to move around the Bell Tower while the Bells are ringing, you can still see part of the 9 Bells that are right in front of you as you're standing in 1 spot during the Bell Ring.
      Please remember that and I hope to see some Videos of the 9 Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower soon, even if I see some of the 9 Bells at a time.

    • @meme2702
      @meme2702 Před 6 lety +1

      OK, it could be possible but I will not do that. It is too complicated. The nine bells ring together only few times in a year and it is very difficult to have the permission to be in the tower while the bells ring. In my article you can find pictures of each bell with some historical and musical information.

    @matteoferracani97 In realtà è la meno bella di tutte. Vero, non è affatto sgradevole, ma ha una struttura tonale (non so se sai cosa sono i toni parziali di una campana) piuttosto irregolare. Secondo me dici così perché in effetti è l'unica campana (oltre al campanone a fine video) che senti singolarmente, ma dentro nel concerto ce ne sono altre più belle (il La#3 ad esempio).

    Hey, Romeo Dell’Era, despite of you not willing to record Videos of the 9 Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower or so, as you’d like rather record Videos of the Bells ringing from outside the Bell Towers, to my guess, out of curiosity, is there someone you know, who’s also a CZcams User & might be willing to record a Video of the 9 Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower & posting it on here?
    I mean, the 9 Bells do sound nice, but among listening to them ringing that I’d also want to see them ringing close up, where I’d also see the Counterweights to what they look like & the Wheels that connect to the Motors for when the Bells are ringing automatically, etc., especially for the Counterweights part that there are 2 types of it for the Bell Tower, as you have the Wooden Counterweights used on Bells d” (Re4), ais’ (La#3), fis’ (Fa#3), e’ (Mi3), & cis’ (Do#3), while you have the interesting-looking Steel Counterweights or so used on Bells h’ (Si3), gis’ (Sol#3), dis’ (Re#3), & h° (Si2).
    The part about those interesting-looking Steel Counterweights or so on those 4 Bells though is where I can’t see those Counterweights at any other Bell Towers, but Lugano here.
    This is kinda why though that I’d like to see some Videos of the 9 Bells ringing from inside the Bell Tower, even if another CZcams User was willing to do so, like if it’s even though a CZcams User, who you might know for Example.
    After all, I do like Church Bells, as I especially like to see them ringing close up, etc..
    In my Opinion, the movement of the Bells, while they’re ringing are better for me, as I do like seeing the movement in there, whether they’re swinging or rolling.
