    Outstanding explanation, yes extremely helpful. I greatly I appreciate your comparison, thank you.
    As a former twenty plus year user of Mac only, and eleven-year iPhone only user, I have completely switched to a PC and Android, the Samsung Note 20. At present I am migrating from Google stuffs, (yes, techy word) to Microsoft (stuffs). Both calendars are being run side by side, and I moved all my files from Google Drive to OneDrive. My procrastination is switching from Gmail to Outlook mail. As I am learning the ins and outs of Microsoft Photos, my photos are in both Google Photos a Microsoft photos.
    Please accept my suggestion, do not create videos with a bright window behind you. A camera adjusts exposure based on the dominant light it sees. Thus, in this video the bright window light is causing the camera exposure to make you appear quite washed out. Also, looking at images one's eyes naturally go to the brightest section of the image, in this video one looks out your window. Cordially.

      Thanks for the feedback! We are in the process of finalizing our studio (where there are no windows 🤣). If you have any questions on your migration let us know!

    I got my company to fully migrate to a Microsoft environment. It's pretty scared how convoluted and unsecure Google environments are. They are complacent due to the ease of use of Google products, until they get data breached lol

    • @capitolpresence
      @capitolpresence  Před 10 měsíci

      This is 💯 % correct! The Google model is a solid offering, the ease of integration. BUT that ease of integration leads to ease of breach very quickly

    Thank you for this video. The world needs this. However, I disagree on some items. It may be due to the age of your video. This comment was posted on 3/19/23.
    On the Productivity apps comparison, I agree with you. Microsoft wins by a small margin. G-Suite(Workspace) can be used offline which makes them desktop app equivalent. I've been using MS Office for a very long time. It is very good. More recently I've been using Google Docs as well. Although Microsoft is more robust & functional, I prefer Google's stuff better. For me, Google wins because 1) it's free for individuals. For teams or small business the cost is about the same. 2) Collaboration is far better. 3) Ease of use. 4) About 98% as functional as the Microsoft equivalents for common use cases. 5) Security is better. 6) Accessibility is better. 7) Integration between apps is better.

      @capitolpresence  Před rokem +1

      I would agree about the individuals being free is a plus. However, Googles number one concern is its lack of security. It has virtually no built in security and compliance measures and relies on API configuration. There's a reason 0 federal agencies and nearly that same number of enterprise organizations run on Google.

    Wow, you really have a lot of knowledge in this field... Which one is best for email marketing - starting out, regarding not being flagged. Plus bounce issue?

    • @capitolpresence
      @capitolpresence  Před 2 lety

      So that really depends on what you mean. Are you sending the emails directly from the inbox or from a CRM? I would start by saying NO free email is good for email marketing (gmail, hotmail, etc) as you are on an open shared server that can have you wound up blacklisted. If you are looking for a specific tool for email marketing, Microsoft has Dynamics Marketing which would be the best tool to use.

      @@capitolpresence Teams crashed very often, while using windows.

    • @andresibanezvasquez6152
      @andresibanezvasquez6152 Před 11 měsíci

      I agree, Teams sucks! Honestly I am much happy with something like Skype. Also Teams, is no different from using Google Meet and Google Chats together, which by the way give you 15GB of storage for free compared to the 5GB you get in Microsoft free version, so if you are just getting started with your business or are working with projects and are looking for friendly starting plans, Google can let you start for free. Google Forms destroys Microsoft Forms (its amazes me that you cannot prevent people from entering multiple responses unless they are part of your organization on a paid wall). They both have pros and cons. Microsoft has more features, honestly many of which most people will never use (unless your job involves statistical analysis, in which case there are far better options like Stata and R, Python etc.). I do not like that with Google everything is on the cloud, I like the option to be local, but with Microsoft collaboration and online manipulation of the data is NOT optimal. I have already encountered many formating errors when editing Word Docs on my PC and then trying to edit it on the cloud. So theres a chance that if you create a nice doc in your PC and share it online with someone, they will see something different. You would have to assume the other person has Microsoft apps installed on their desktop (and therefore they are paying for it), which is not always the case. Its just like saying, just use Google, because everybody has a google or gmail account, which is plausible. With Google what you see is what others will see. In the end its whatever works for you. I work for a firm and starting my own business soon, currently using Microsoft ONLY for my work related stuff (excel for reports, word and outlook for letters, PPT for presentations) and for personal use I use Google, since its easier to use, and because I like their storage plans better, thinking on using Google Suite for my business as well, but keeping "confidential" data off the cloud, obviosuly. I do not mind my "sales reports" being online (I am not a huge corporation with hackers waiting to sell my data to third parties) because my data is not that interesting or of value to others, but for really confidential data your PC or even an external drive is your best choice. Again, its whatever works for you, but just wanted to point out that to some people Microsoft might be the better productivity software because of "more features", which really neglects to take into account the usability of that to the average Microsoft or Google user.
