Salam Walid. I'm a Malaysian. As a fellow Muslim and a brother, it's my duty to let you know that be mindful as to where you're going to have your meal especially at a non-Muslim establishment. Even if there are no pork in the dishes, most of the non-Muslim restaurants uses lard as their base instead of normal oil. Also, you should ask them are the meats sourced from a Halal supplier. Always ask. You'll have a peace of mind if you go to a Malay restaurant. 99.9999% Malays are Muslim, and ingredients are from halal sources. Always check for a Halal Logo at the entrance or a Halal certificate hanged on the wall or at the cashier. I'm not here to discriminate or disrupt people's businesses and also, I want to be able to answer the question "did you inform him" in the Akhirah when being asked. I've done my duty.... Walid walid i saw that you eat everything even from non muslim buchery. As a muslim I'm shock cause even when I'm in Europe I only ate from halal approved restaurant
Most chinese restaurant is non halal...and contain pork..even the oil for cooking sometimes they use lard...there are many curry mee and char kue tiaw that is halal..you should do more research...

I hope your travel plans will include Thailand while your in that part of the world. good adventure. but my advice as muslim brother, it's safer for you to buy at a Malay, Indian Muslim, Chinese Muslim or any halal certified booths or restaurants. me as a Malaysian muslim, will not eat at that restaurant. as you can see, no muslim eat there. the equipment they use is questionable. more careful.
if you care about halal at all, any shop selling pork is definitely not halal. cross contamination between pork and other ingredients is impossible to avoid during preparation. even the chicken they might get it from non-halal butcher

Most of the Chinese Char Kuoy Teow will use the Pork oil. Please be aware ya.
