20:34 I just think about it, you can clear everything perfectly, but a single missed trap and someone dies immediately, this is still a game and the trap is quite visible, but thinking how in real life we have a very very thin nylon wires that are practically invisible unless you get real close makes me think, traps are scary man

it sounds funny, but what beats those traps is silly string, since its light enough to not trigger the line and very easy to use

That along with MRAPs, Javelin Launchers, etc etc, it's not hard to imagine that people the US doesn't consider allies could have come across a few laser triggered claymores... Just, while figuring out how they actually work, how many do they accidentally blow up before finally figure out how to use them safely?
@@pretary1845 now, after the retreat of the us forces? of course the taliban have high end military equipment, they basically left for them in a silver plate
but what I meant was that the silly string wouldn't work on a laser based trap, claymores for example, but if you use a weak smoke, it would reveal such lasers, but not the wires based ones
again reinforcing how scary traps can be, if you use smoke, you reveal your position but will be safe from laser based traps, if you use the silly string you will be safe from wires, but lasers may detonate on you

In video games, dying to the same guy who killed my teammate and didn't give a callout is one thing.... In real life? You simply can't gloss over those details... (Putting aside the idea of dead teammates giving you callouts, but there's MANY situations where it's crucial)

@@GLIDGaming The only problem with games like Warzone is the TTK is so high having properly gotten the jump on one or more enemies doesn't necessarily give you an advantage over a "sweaty", snap shot punk with an aim bot for a wrist. However, there's no way these tactics DON'T help you. They've got to. For situational awareness and response alone.

Siege is so fucking good... it has a lot of potencial, a lot of mechanics, room to make an actual strat. Sadly, it´s turning into a fucking deathmatch.. with literally everybody just running and trying to kill everyone in less than 1 fucking minute. I´m starting to play it less and less because of the boring matches, not competitive at all anymore.
i'm not usually into military related stuff ( at least in the real world ) but there were certain things that i kinda liked when i was doing mandatory national service in Singapore. this is one of them, reminds alot of my time in Singapore Armed Forces - urban ops training ; communicating with each other, moving in as a unit, callouts, slowly checking corners , knowing the building layout etc. good stuff guys

Lovely to see how you guys do it. Only the Rules of Engagement in this game is a thing. So what you hear from 02:33 and so on, is a big 'no no'.
Also you need to pick up all the weapons that you can find from the enemy, as in this game they can sometimes despawn. And this will affect your score at the end, unfortunantly.

When I was in, it was much easier to clear buildings and rooms. Just say on the intercom something along the lines of "Gunner, traverse right 040, two-story building, range 1500. HE" and then there will be no more building. Simple but effective.

Really sweet, bro. Thoroughly enjoyed this!! One thing I would mention, at 2:15 that could be useful for your next run. I know y'all are pros!!! When you enter a room via center/corner door like this the number 1 man, Bootneck in this case, def has the first taste of the fatal funnel, so he's covering his greatest sector of fire when entering that room, i.e. roughly that 1-to-4 o'clock sector. To make entry, he would actually push forward and immediately make that right turn to cover that sector of fire, while you, the no. 2 man, would cover left and take the 9-to-12 sector. Ideally, as you know, we want those sweet overlapping sectors of fire but we won't attain that until fully in the room in our respective corners - no. 1 on the right crossing your sector (sweeping huge 10-to-12), and no. 2 on the left crossing yours (12-to-2 roughly). So we can actually see the value of this at 2:26. Imagine Bootneck is now the No. 2 man here (even though he was No.1 since he made entry first). He can see everything behind that vending machine right in front of you, since he should cover the 12-to-2. What he CANNOT see is the lit hallway with the floral painting at 2:26 on the lefthand side. But you can, since you're the No.1 man now and you have that overlapping fire. If someone dared turn that corner you'd smoke his ass right away.
TL;DR:
This would be what the dialogue sounds like, using above:
2:19 - "Alright, pushing in."
"Rog, push to right corner and watch your sector. Taking left. Once in place you cover 12/2, I'll be on 10/12."
He confirms, makes entry, game time.

You can stack on doors, it's a little tricky and most players don't know. But you stack behind your teammates and fress the f key when you look at their shoulder. Nut to butt like the good ole days lmao.

I recommend you guys playing “6 days in fallujah” the release date should be sometime at the end of the year, the game constantly changes where the enemy’s are at and the game changes the building and streets every time you play it so that way you can’t get use to the game, every time you play the game is like playing for the first time

You can try Strike at Karkand Battlefield 2.
I know it's archaic game by now but it has wide range of weapons and it gives capability of multi role play where you have to fight your way through the areas and capture flags (bases).
And it's more realistic than any of these games in a manner that one player can play the Medic, second can play the Sniper, third can play demolition man, fourth can play mine placer, fifth can play anti tank guy and so on.
And it has much of strategic and intelligent gameplay.
And you guys could have a blast playing it online.

US Marine infantry here. Honestly it’s interesting how people think there’s a ton of special tricks you learn when in a combat arms job in any armed forces to make you a room clearing machine. Most of it is just understanding how to properly communicate as well as fundamentals, understanding how to enter a room, avoiding things like the fatal funnel. Etc…
You are correct but it’s mostly about Discipline you learn the fundamentals and comms then you need to stay tuned in as long as it takes. That sets apart the pro from the untrained. Learning the fundamentals are the easy part it’s applying them over and over with precision that is hard.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this. If the door handle is on the LEFT side, it opens INTO the room and can be kicked in by pressing (V) if the door handle is on the right, it opens OUT and has to be pulled open, pressing F to peak, and F again to full open.

@@GLIDGaming Been playing the game since it launched haha, Another quick tip, you can actually shoot the weapons out of their hands to force a surrender, If you interrogate a captured enemy, on the map it shows the location of the Hostages / bomb

you can run that game on high graphics with a 1080 TI, there's nothing a 3090 can do better than a 1080 in this game

Might be a stupid question. During these operations in real life, is anything worn to protect the ears? Especially in tight corners where a teammate might fire right next to you. If there is protective ear wear, how can you hear anything around you?
Yes and no, we are suppose to but we don't always do it. You wear Comms gear which blocks some sound.
One of the games when I die you are not automatically useless and can actually become an "overlord" or the map guy and actually guide your team through the map.
Cool, wish i could have a team to play Zero Hour like them. But in my opinion, i dont like how they keep moving pass the other's gun heading, it could cause danger some times.
It's never a good idea to walk infront of others you are correct, but it's a game and you can't bring you weapon to a high port position like in real life.
