The Air Jordan XI Bred originally released in 1995 and has since retro’d 4 additional times. Nike wouldn't put 45 on these because when started playing in the bred 11s he had gotten his jersey number back out of retirement for the '96 season.. When he hooped in the concords in space jams his 23 jersey was still in retirement so thats why he had P.E's versions of those shoes with 45 on them
Only because Micheal Jordan never wore the bred 11s with the 45 on them when he played.
Ima say it again, some sneakers are better off as high tops.

Even as a kid in the 90's, I knew the peaks were there to help the people stitching the shoes together because they are strategically placed to mark points where panels should meet and help with centering.

Definitely copping a pair! The Bred 11 were my first hypebeast pair that made me realize that I was a sneakerhead all those years ago (OG). I even bought them off someone in the street to tell you the truth. So to hear that they're dropping is a definite cop for me. Great episode. Definitely looking forward to seeing your top ten 2019 episode. Hopefully I have at least 5 of the pairs you'll feature when that episode drops ;)

As a og myself and a Bulls fan I was fortunate enough to cop 2 pairs. I watched and enjoyed seeing MJ and the Bulls win all 6 of their championship games. Great video as usual.

I got these in the shock drop and the most recent concords when they released. These are 2 shoes I never thought I would have. Feels great 😭
Sad to say here in the Philippines such iconic shoe as j11 breds will still be hard to cop despite the high volume of released pairs. Manipulation of dealers and Jordan phils. and resellers always make it hard to get them srp.. But hopefully I can get this beloved j11 breds by Dec.. Nice review as always Seth! I manually copped one pair in my size when they dropped. Pretty happy and it was definitely worth waiting 25 minutes just to see that signature “Got ‘Em” screen.
Seth! The 2012 release came with a much better box with a red Jordan 11 plastic inner box and red jumpman shoe trees. Can't beat that.
Got the 2012s this summer. My uncle gave them to me and I really appreciate that he gave them to me. They're 100% my favorite Jordan of all time

Never owned a “new” pair of these in my life.
Years ago (circa 2004-05), I traded a pair of 3s I had for this guy’s bred 11s. By the time I got them, they were used... They weren’t beat, but they definitely weren’t new...and I never was able to get them in 1995 or 2001. So to me, they were new! Lol.
As crazy as it may seem, back then, we actually hooped in our J’s. And I wore those things OUT! Hadn’t had a pair since... So I’m definitely trying to hop on 1-2 pairs in December.
