Bremen Christmas market begins December 1 and closes at 800 pm on the 23rd of December. Market stalls are lit with Christmas lights and are styled in a traditional christmas theme. While visiting the markets some of the popular stalls include the famous Gluhwein and feuerzangenbowle mulled wine drinks, eat traditional sausages, Knip, Matjes fillet sandwiches, or other fish from the fresh fish stands. Many other stands offer Christmas gifts ranging from chocolates, wooden handcrafts, toys, clothes, traditional candles, Wine, Schnapps, fruit stalls, children's rides and may others. The Markets are some of the more Famous Christmas markets in Europe and many tourists flock to the city during December.
