As a Chiefs fan we too had the same nerve racking experience; I truly felt his pain for 99% of the game. The only reason I'm a KC fan was because I was a Niners fan back in the 80's. I loved Joe Montana and as much as it broke my heart I followed Joe to the Chiefs when he was traded to them. From there I fell in love with other players namely Derek Thomas (RIP 😪), Marcus Allen, and Neil Smith. The 90's were _BRUTAL_ for us but I stayed loyal even after Joe retired. We had moments especially with Rich Gannon and Alex Smith but it was Mahomes that for me came out of nowhere to put new life into the franchise. He had such a good heart and love for the game, not to mention talent. Purdy reminds me of that quality too but someone must lose the Super Bowl. The 49ers have _nothing_ to be disappointed in when you think about it. They had an amazing season that ended in a Super Bowl overtime Sunday. Purdy is legit and we all already knew that McCaffrey is as well. Best of luck next season! =)
