For sure, I think it has some more in it to. Next step is crackin' er open for some port work. Torque is definitely there, so I think moving the exhaust a bit to gain another 500rpm or so in the cut, and cutting the base to gain some compression back, she'll be lovely.
I think the brass plugg was the governor that's why it worked even with the high screw all the way in after you pluged the high jet. I have a similar carb on my dolmar ps5000 with a zama c1q carb. Btw that Jon Cutter can pull, nice video!

Just got this for 70$ on a flash sale without a bar and chain super excited to run it can’t go wrong for that price
Heck no they run good stock, plenty torque just a bit lacking on rpm. But still great for the money.

Definitely worth the money IMO. Even if it does wear a stihl bar mount 😆, but it's actually a very dandy saw to run.
