How to make a matchbox from birch bark.

- In this video I show you how to make a matchbox out of birch bark. The matchbox is entirely made out of natural materials found in the forest.
Material and items used in the video:
- Birch bark.
- Birch wood.
- Knife (EKA).
- Wood glue.
- Drill.
- Ruler.
- Pen.
- String.
- Wood wedges.

one suggestion, if you want to make this or use it in the wild i strongly recommend to tie a lanyard from the cap to the box itself. the cap could become lost very easily but it contains the most critical part of the box - the matches won't start easily without the striker surface. don't lose that :)

Remember to take a nice piece of birch bark, preferably from a younger birch, with no knots or other roughness.
