A force of dollar store army men invade the beaches of their enemy and establish a beachhead for further operations.
Lead by an uncompromising General, this is a war that cannot easily be won...
In Part I, The top Recon Team is selected for the dubious task of blowing up a key bridge and stranding themselves behind enemy lines. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
best army movie ever effects are the best great job
the houses in the binoculars shots are Puzz 3-D. google it. great props... got most of them used at the Salvation Army. the destroyed hamlet has a podcast, if you're really curious. it's drywall material, mostly, with popsicle sticks and various plastic debris.
voices were recorded in a studio [owned by Alex Lifeson of the band Rush, actually!] in north Toronto. yes, they were the ULTIMATE MICS!!!
I see this over and over, i just love it
nicely done.
your terrain is awsome
you are god of the movies???!!!!!!
exelent man!!! verry good job!!!

this is the coolest stop motion war movie yet
MAKE MORE!!!!

It must have been a pretty crappy train to be sent screaming off course by a grenade. Good Video.
this is so cool along with the set
This is superb!
awesome this is
Great voice acting.
thanks! it took about five years, on and off. big gaps as i moved around a lot, and had no budget. worked on it full time for the past eight months or so...
HELL GOOD
dig a deeeeep hole (used as mountain range)
place a plastic tarp in the hole
shape the tarp to fit the hole
plug tent pegs through the rivets into the walls of the hole
fill with water
leave the hose in the hole so you can fill as needed
best stp motion army video yet please make part 2
Wow! Great stop frame animation with good story line. Well done.
Trout Lake in Vancouver. and the B&W sequences in Ottawa...

Johnwilliamross is the mack.
BobbyGorilla and Dubblestein are pretty macking, too...
Reminds me of Black hawk down ;)
most of the main characters were called Canadian Peacekeepers. but i don't know what brand name they are, there were dozens of kinds.... i got them at dollar stores in Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto. Most came with some sort of tank or or ten or oil barrels or artillery, etc.
its increibol
Very cool vid, good script and the action is pretty cool, too. Nicely done.
Really really well done. Almost Harryhausen quality.
yes
240.000 already !
i love the bazooka guy
i garden. in October, before the frost i dug a pit in my garden. then did this:
- piled the dirt from the pit into a mountain
- dug a trench leading from the pit to the edge of the garden
- placed a tarp into the pit and trench
- filled with water from hose
i had planned to have a waterfall but my hose didn't reach the back of the mountain!!
omg this is soooo epic
nice videoo
I would still love to see a sequel to this
i had an effects editor do all of the 2-D composite effects in Adobe After Effects.
with Adobe Premiere you can do layers, but no effects animation. you could design a muzzle blast in Photoshop etc, then superimpose it over the gun's muzzle.
or export the edit as a filmstrip, import it to Photoshop and edit frame by frame. very time consuming process, though.
thanks for watching.
Your a god when it comes to making this stuff!
This video is epic!!!!!
Damn dude... This is actually... Really good...
this deserves ALOT more views
yeah. i'm working on other projects right now. this was a labour of love for way too long, so it's time to do something else!!!!
dude this was cool awesome vid 5 stars
@andytes88
They're Puzz 3-D... Three dimensional puzzles based on actual buildings, churches and cities. Totally rad. Totally hard to put together....
years from now, yo. yeeeaarrrssss......
bazooka man rocks!
intentional, too!
see the below for the programs we used.
synching sound to picture is one of the oldest tricks in filmmaking. just choose the sound that fits the best and plug it into a timeline...
you mean: "you are his fan" but we get it! this production is awesome!!!
I like how the bricks were bigger than the tank
Wow i saw all your vids and its a good story dude good job on the set

00:34 cut of his head just to make it move xD haha epic :D
that was an awsome video better than any other one i have seen did you make a part 2 yet? the bazooka dude was really funny i wonder how you moved there body parts and how you moved the soilders. that is a good video i like when they threw a grenade to destroy that whole train and how the train flew off the tracks into the water from a little grenade. the bazooka guy has a hilarious voice is he like mental or disoriented or something like that is the bazooka guy a fail in life or a succsess
Brits and Aussies, too.
nice man so realistic!!!
like innerlock said, it's well worth the wait.
DID YOU SAY IT WOULD BE YEARS BEFORE THE SECOND ONE??!!
nice work,keep trying
Dude did you make those buildings? If you did you and all the ppl that work on this vid is AWESOME! 10/10!
that's a good question... there's a red guy in the tower and two green guys in the bunker. the black and white flashbacks are tan enemies. the answers will be revealed in the sequel!! oooooooooohhhhhhh
i bet it was HARD!
9:56 Bazooka trips LMFAO
cheers! one day, fo sho...
LOVE THIS but sadly its allitle blury in a few spots
Saving Plastic Ryan
WWOOOOOOWWWWW GREAATT VIDEOOO !!!!!!!
epic sause
i used a few formats [film stock, still pictures, video], but most of the film is made up of 6500+ still shots from a Canon D40 DSLR. google it, it's a killer camera.
you can use a video camera if it will take still pictures... a video camera will give you the option of mixed formats, as well.
I am not better, but here is one I made about 11 years ago! It was simple but fun.
I like bazooka because my dad was airborne!
@117ReApEr324
dollar stores and thrift shops. buildings are Puzz 3-D. search it, they're super cool props
