Good day Florence, thank you for the very detailed video, it is quiet apt. My question, I learnt the minimum duration of bank statement that can be presented is 4 months. I however two accounts; one with only about 2 million and the other with enough funds to cover the entire duration of my 4 year program. The second account with the bulk sum was opened less than a month ago, and I cannot move the funds to my other account. Is there a way to present both statements?

Hi, very detailed and quality video. please i want to know how long the amount needs to be in the account before applying. for instance an account used for business with several in and outs but has about 12 million stable in the account for less than two months but more than 1 month, or does the amount "12 million" have to be in the account for 4 to 6 months? in this case 20,000 CAD is needed as requirement.

Halo Florence I love your videos. On Acceptable type of proof of funds I have cash from our business is cash certificate from registered auditor sufficient to present. Some countries we prefer and work with cash more cause of different reasons and yes we pay taxes and have proof. Just concern on whether IRCC accepts verified cash certificates

This IRCC website provides a minimum required amount at $10,000 per year . Some schools will provide you living expense for their specific city as well

You made an error by adding the 20k + the initial 10 k minimum that was from the 20k tution fees, so I believe it should be 20k +2k =22k.... Also I wish to ask pls ma, is it a must to have tution fee for the complete 2 years program,what of if I have paid first semester and have the second semester fees on my account with my expenses, also on study leave from my account which I would fund my second year school fees from there, does that work ?

You should show funds that covers your total cost, which will include the fees paid.

my study permit application has been approved for a 2 years course. While waiting for the approval I had to defer the admission from January intake 2023 to September intake 2023 . I submitted my passport for stamping and discovered that the visa expiry date is reading 30/3/2023 and my passport will expire by 2027
My program starts in 5 months time now I am supposed to land in Canada on or before 30/3/2023?

I think you should enter Canada with your visa and present your new letter of acceptance to the border officer who would grant you the study permit based on your new letter of acceptance.

From my experience, what brought about the poor quality of the documents was the restriction that the documents should not be more than 4MB, and during the process of compressing the documents thereby reducing the quality. Also, I believe that they have an app to enlarge the document. Please, what is the way out of the situation? Thank you
Get all your documents on word. Then export as pdf. It reduces the size. You can then reduce further with any of those softwares like smallpdf

-dont submit fake documents
-explain any sus things in your proof of funds like large deposits
-make sure that source of funds is clear
-make sure you will still have your funds when your study permit gets approved
-make your documents easy to read and organised

For my proof of funds I put a letter from my parents saying they will pay tuition, first page of bank statements for four months, investment account statement for one month, tax forms, and pay slips for 2-4 months. I combined them into a single pdf in that order

My question now is I am planning to get married and add my spouse after submission but I am having hard time finding out the proof of fund my spouse will need in this situation. Will it still be the amount for a single person or lesser since we are applying together. Will be just 6,000 for flight and all. Thanks so much

Not sure I understand your question. Did you apply for a study permit for your whole family or just you. If it was just you, you can apply for your wife and kids to join you as well.

Yes it will. Pay tuition for the first term at least.
There is no one size fits all answer. If you are self sponsored, then you need tuition and living expenses for both years in your account as pof. If you’re being sponsored by a third party, one year expenses and tuition will suffice but the sponsor has to prove they are capable of providing for you next year.

Well you need to show ties to that person, financial history between both of you. A support letter , affidavit for sponsorship, the sponsor employment letter or promotion letters, work I'd card , pictures of both of you , any receipt or payment made on your behalf by the sponsor. Your own payslip, your own my bank statement , your pension savings and if you can access the funds. For Canada the documents to prove can be freestyled. Good luck.
Ensure you provide a detailed explanation and proof of ongoing relationship and support . The sponsor should provide a letter too
