I have a hand crank singer 99 , it was 100 last year , being bought by my grandmother . Only thing that has ever broken on it was a needle , even having been used to stitch leather . At the rate it's going, it'll be just as good at 200 .
Just renovated a wilcox and gibbs from 1863 that stitches beautifully . It's great to see such well made machines being kept in use rather than on a shelf .
