    These types of burger got popular in Japan because of MOS burger 🍔🍔- have you guys ever had Japanese fast food before? What's your favorite?

      I loved the teriyaki burger from MOS Burger! Had them a couple of times when I was in Japan, just for a snack! I'm sorry Champ but that is no mayo :D

    Man I bloody love Yakiniku. The onions infuse the juices of the meat with so much flavour. Never tried a rice bun before! That's actually genius 😛

    I would love to see a weekly live cooking show where you teach Chris how to cook during his journey to get fit. And another where you teach Connor how to box so he can join the creator clash next year and dominate.

    I planned to go to a Yakiniku-Restaurant in the future today, and then Champ posted a recipe for it. Champ has got some higher power in seeing my thoughts.

    The burger looks delicious but knowing me I'll end up with yolk all over my clothes eating it. Same yakiniku with fried egg over cooked rice in a bowl ......yum

    Love the content and the recipe Champ, i do think the mayo was a bit too runny, try adding the oil a bit slower and beating faster, unless that was the desired consistency in which case, perfect! Keep growing!

    Hello Champ! Just wanted to know I LOVE your channel and your recipes! I'm learning a lot! As for this recipe, I think I'd enjoy just eating that beef over rice, without making the burger, just to keep things simple.
    For your next dish, I think you should make the famous soup from Nagasaki: CHAMPON!

    Champ ur the best and I love you but that was not mayonnaise. It must be mixed much harder and faster (get your mind out of the gutter) and it will become much more creamy and far less runny

    What does mirin taste like a lot of Japanese recipe uses mirin and I don't drink alcohol.. I want to make a substitute for mirin

      Mirin is sweet. It cooks so you don't taste the alcohol.
      Sugar can be substituted, although the taste may be a little less intense I guess

    You didn't make mayonnaise there is no emulsion :'( . I think you added your olive oil too fast, it's more of a drop by drop process.

      The problem is whisking! U need 3000rpm blender to make easy mayonaise

    The total water amount is incorrect. That is not enough to cook the rice.

      In Japan we typically cook 150g of rice for 200ml of water - since there are 60ml of liquid ingredients we reduce the water in this recipe to 540ml

      @@ChampsJapaneseKitchen By which method? What type of rice did you use? I actually tried this recipe using sushi rice. That amount of water and the rice was cooking hard like a biscuit. I'm an experienced cook by the way. I adjusted the water and other than that, the recipe tasted nice. Thank you.

    Looks very good, but .... that's not a "burger." No patty, no burger. It's a chopped meat sandwich, NOT a burger.
    It would be like calling a catfish po'boy sandwich "sushi." It just ain't.

    I'm disappointed... this is rice burger that Korean are already made popular... should been put on a Japanese made hamburger buns suit it very well... as a fusion cook myself... disappointed 😞
