It's interesting to see the different approaches to this series. Tango is trying to automate all the things, Zedaph is building the most Zedaphy contraptions he can come up with, Keralis is all in on trains, BDubs is doing his usual building of cool stuff, and Scar just wants to play with all the cool new blocks.
This sums up each of them nicely. XD

I love the Wile E. Coyote style labeling with all the Tango-isms during the time lapse. Simply amazing.
Watching Tango get so absolutely geeked over Create mod is honestly just delightful. His excitement is contagious, it makes me bounce in my seat.
Tango: I hope you put the storage room on the other side of the Industrial town so that it creates the need for the transport of items from factory to warehouse which can be done by the mass transit trains and monorails. On-demand train pickups when the storage room is depleted would be mind blowing.
...They're already using trains to transport items from the farming area to the factory, so don't worry!

For those who didn't see it, the second chest from the end on the bottom row in the mob farm was placed incorrectly. It made 2 single chests instead of a double chest.

I think it would have been cool to disable elytras all together for this playthrough to encourage the use of Create ways of traveling. Imagine gondola networks all over The End!

For sure. If you're designing a modpack I think one way to nerf Elytras without making things simply more grindy is to reduce the frequency of having to travel places. Like one big thing is having to go to an enderman farm or similar to repair mending tools, so why not just remove mending and have the player automate making tools, giving them some ability to send a supply of iron tools to the player remotely like a Player Interface or Ender Chest/Pouch, or just provide fully automatic ways of getting ores so you can make diamond or even netherite tools.
Like currently Create miners are a bit manual because it's hard to control them remotely, but when the Aeronautics addon releases, you could have contraptions with fully simulated redstone on them that literally rotate their thrusters to come home when you send them a redstone signal, or when an onboard comparator detects the chests are all full.
I think it's very interesting how all the different aspects of the game interact with each other with regards to balancing, such that such unrelated things as "how automatable mining is" and "how necessary elytras are" can actually be related
@@amaryllis0 think you went far, there's no reason to get rid of mending because there's no replacement for it. It's just gonna create a major annoyance of having to make a lot of enchanted armor. Create is good for transport
Absolutely agree! They're using a mod that makes trains viable.. it would be a real shame to just watch them fly everywhere instead of making little alleyways, building streetcars and high-speed trains, and whatever else. Things are just so much cooler when they are useful, rather than just being built for the novelty of existing!
As much as elytra would seem inconvenient at first, it would really incentivize local industrialization (look at Tango's cobble generificator!), Create-based transport, person-scaled city and detail.. it would make for an even cooler series!
@@afoxwithahat7846 The replacement is automatic tool crafting and enchanting... not a difficult concept. It's also just an example of how to rebalance the game to require less travel. You could just provide a way of making lots of consumable xp anywhere you want, like bottles of enchanting or create's xb cubes
Tango's version of "I did a little mining off camera" is industrilization.
I'd just like to take a moment to thank Mr. Tango Tek for being the most inspiring content creator I have watched in a long time. Truly original use of Create, made me end my 7 month burn out hiatus on Minecraft.
This create mod episoodes are my most anticipated videos of the week. Get excited everytime I see a new episode pop up.
Mine too, I think the only thing I look more forward to is the hermits going back to their server, hopefully this upcoming week.
I really liked how tango paused the timelapse at the beginning to label each section of the build!

Blender might be the best new mob grinder. I’ve seen plenty of modded designs but this is the most visually satisfying

Should turn 2 of the blender's blades 90 degrees, it might stop those annoying instances of the mobs just dropping one level and taking another full revolution to make it down
What an amusing, creative mod this is. Tango (and the other creators) are in their element. I love watching every one of them, but specially Tango & Zed (cos they are both crazy!)

Always been amazed by what you do in vanilla minecraft, but when given the tools to create, pun intended, you can really relish in the madness, love your creativity Tango sir.
The developing factory is quite inspiring. I find I often get fatigued by all the options so it's nice to have a role model here.

Hey Tango! You might consider replacing the saws on your mob blender with deployers holding looting swords for extra drops!

I appreciate that you didn't dumb down your labeling of the components during the time-lapse. Seeing the scientific names used unapologetically is one of the many reasons I watch your content.
Seeing the rockets reminds me of my first attempt at a rocket factory, needing to crush Netherack, break down brown mushrooms, obliterate spiders using a Looting III sword deployer, sugarcane farms for sugar, netherwart farms, and a triple potion brewing funneled into each other, all to spurt a bit of potion on the netherack to make gunpowder. Love this mod.
The blender is so satisfying to watch.
For this farm instead of a monorail you can have a paddlewheel boat to transport the items to shore to be unloaded on a train.
To make the boat move back and forth you can essentially use the same system Scar uses to make his house move (minecart contraption) which means it won't be a true boat but whatever
Hiding minecart or train rails underground to make moving vehicles like cars, boats, and planes is truly an underrated mechanic! One of my favourite applications is making a combine harvester to harvest wheat fields; much better than a boring and easy "put a row of harvesters on a spinny pole" circle farm
A really dense factory is the most satisfying thing ever!
I just need more of these Create series, I just love it since I studied these kinda mechanical things with cogs etc. I've been watching everybody's vids about this series and I've been loving it, especially yours Tango!

I love everything about this series that the five of you are doing. It has inspired me to set up a Create Mod world for my son and me.

Love the new creative way to make mob farms, as it's fun to see how the Create mod can offer new ways to build and play Minecraft.
I usually hate modded minecraft, but seeing how passionate you are playing and how much progress you get done in one episode is impressive and fun to watch.
That Mob farm is just idek how to describe it, but just perfect and soo efficient with the drops/ loot.

I recently designed a mob grinder. Think I'm still too stuck in a vanilla mindset, need to think more with portals. I'll be back to the drawing board, you've given me a lot of ideas.
I have one recommendation, use deployers with swords to kill the mobs and you can get experience as well. Enchanting the swords seems to work so with mending they stay repaired. You may have to crank the speed up to keep up with the mobs

Many peeps have suggestions for dealing with the spiders but, honestly, they fall so fast as it is, I don’t think adjustments are necessary. They already drop faster than in a vanilla Minecraft spider farm.
