And finding an actor to play the prince was just as difficult as finding Cinderella. He was the last person they found and he NAILED it. I highly recommend you check out the behind the scenes story of the making of this movie and I guarantee you’ll be amazed
I remember crazy, trifling people actually tried to say it was a weave... her and her hair dresser had to prove it was actually hers! She's always been so beautiful.
I know it`s dumb but I just love to imagine this is Kung Lao XD Yes, the song is beautiful. I would like to buy the movie but I don`t find a DVD anywhere.
“Falling in Love with Love” sung by Bernadette Peters was also added to this version just for her, but I thought the addition really added a great element of music to the play and did such a beautiful job of rounding out her character. It fit well, while allowing her to still be the villain, just a slightly more complex one. All around, I thought this Rogers and Hammerstein adaptation made such great choices, no need to say the cast was absolutely stellar, and really was a masterpiece.
I grew up with the Lesley Ann Warren version, so the new songs stood out when this version premiered on channel 7 (crazy to remember it was never even in theatres with such a cast).
PRINCE: It's just like those royals, isn't it? Not caring if they're in anyone's way. CINDERELLA: I'm sure they were going somewhere very important. PRINCE: I doubt it.
The prince was so good looking. When I saw this years later I had the biggest crush on him.

@@MrWill9002 Finding an actress to play Cinderella was not difficult because Whitney handpicked Brandy to play Cinderella
@@erinsmith4954 true but it was difficult for finding the actor for the Prince

It was other way around. Kung Lao came a year later.
Who here, aside from me, knew this wasn't originally a _Cinderella_ song?
It was originally from the musical 'No Strings'.

I liked all the Cinderellas. Each one brought something different to the part.
I believe you mean Leslie Ann Warren, who starred in the 1965 version for television
