Its become a tradition in our family now to sit down on a Sunday morning and watch your videos, the kids always get excited when i tell them there is a new scotty video out. When we’re done watching they always ask when can we go camping again 😂. Keep up the good work you’re inspiring the next generation to explore the outdoors.

Next time you head down there take your fly rod. Those salmon are a hoot on fly. Use a gummy minnow fly or a small white clouser minnow.

Great vlog scotty, good to be out there alone but now and then its great to share the experience with mates. If that was me leaving the keys in the car I wouldn't here the end of it, some blokes just love to see u fuck up and have to remind u time after time. It was humbling to see how u guys reacted and just took it in your stride. Mistakes are made, move on, love it, cheers scotty

What a great get-together for the three of you. Mattsy is funny without even trying. Leaves his keys in the car right off the bat. We love Mattsy. Luke had it right when he made the comparison between you and Mattsy. You are organized and particular and Mattsy just smashes all of that. We do love you Mattsy. I've never seen salmon caught like that - dragging them up on the shore. Interesting. We do a lot of salmon fishing here in Wisconsin, but never dragging them. Whatever works. The cooked fish looked great, but not the eyeballs. omg. Loved the video. Take care and hooroo..
Haha! Thanks Judy 😆 I personally have no idea why I decided to drag up the beach either. I think it’s from watching too much ‘Alone’ where they lose the fish on the edge of the bank. 😂
I was just on a smaller 4000 reel which isn't ideal for salmon and I thought I was going to snap the line, walking them up the beach felt like a lot less tension on the line and rod then trying to fight it.

My backyard, take a packrat and explore up the estuary (some good EPS in there) and you can access fresh water easily.

Great video man and what a trip away. Interesting to see how you move forward now open fires are banned in nsw. Yeah then we don’t film we do what we want, but moving forward and only allowed to cook with gas it limits the cooking we can do in the future
Where did you hear open fires were banned in nsw? During total fire ban days they are. And certain national parks will have a fire ban over summer, but usually not all of them
I’ve spent the night searching through google and can’t find it mentioned anywhere so socials just spreading misinformation again
