      No governor, That other lever that I have is the throttle, wire tied it it then a simple right angle plywood angle wire to carb. Makes it more fun controlling the motor by hand.

    Ya know what I like most about your saw mill..? Its not OSHA approved hahaha love it..! Its simple, it works, its noisy, nice square cuts & makes piles of sawdust... Whats not to love hahaha😁 I like the indexing system to move the log over for the next cut.

    Thanks, I believe its called the Heacock feed. My Chase mill uses what's called a friction feed.

    i stopped in thinking id get a glimpse of the pawl that sets the board size. i want to know how the works particularly. i have designs to build a mill soon on the family farm lot. this was useful though I have seen another method that I like because it let you pick the travel speed but this seems a much simpler build no futzing around with disk and rods
