Eclipse of the Sun was a science film released in July 1918, one month after a solar eclipse visible across the United States. The film was created while Max Fleischer was working at Bray Productions. 35mm print provided by the Library of Congress.

I was under the impression the Einstein Theory of Relativity 1923 film was the oldest science education film of Fleischer’s, are there more as old or older than this short?
