  • A massive faamalo to the team at SCS for putting this project together this year and for seeing it through diligently. Special mention to Tuisafua David Chung (@dah_vita) and James Atherton for being the main drivers, thanks to you both everyone knew their roles and the “Samoa Green Livelihoods” project was able to (regardless of all the setbacks and challenges that this year presented) achieve what it set out to.
Also a big thank you to the projects sponsors CSSP (Civil Society Support Program) & to all the partners - Samoa Voyaging Society, Conservation International, CSSP, METI, Poutasi Development Trust, The GEF Small Grants Program, YOUTH, Samoa Green, FEPS, EcoCurrent, SRWMA, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Samoa Business Hub, SPREP, British High Commission, Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa, Lanulauava Student Association, Samoa Green Livelihoods, The National University of Samoa & International Labour Organisation.

It’s been an honour working in this space with you and being a part of the journey over the past several months.
This project has allowed me to dive a bit deeper into my culture, learn more about sustainable practises and our planet.
It amazes me to see the extent to which an initiative like this can change people’s lives. I’m proud to have played a part and I am excited to see what SCS & the Green Livelihoods project are able to achieve in the future for Samoa and the world over the coming years.
Today at the launch His Excellency Mr David Ward said something along these line... “Learning to live on this planet sustainably will be the biggest challenge of the century for if we cannot find a way to do so we will not be able to live here at all”. ✊🏽🍃
This is my first “mini documentary” and hopefully not the last as I continue to learn more about my culture, story telling and developing my skill set as a media freelancer.
    ..
If you’ve made it this far, I just want to say thank you for your support, it means a heck of a lot. 💕
