- If you use your hand brake cable every day, overtime, you may experience your cable will stretch. You may have to adjust the lever and tighten it to compensate for that, but what happens when you can’t do that anymore? What about if your cables are seized? What happens if they are rusting out and sticking? Well what you are stuck with doing is replacing the entire cable itself. In this video, I remove my OEM cables that were looking quite rough, and replace them with new cables to fix my problem. If your cables just need to be adjusted, click this link: • How to Tighten Your Ha...

If you only knew how much I appreciate you!! I’ve had my Accord for 5 years and could find the right video to fix certain things! Thanks to you I finally can now!!
Man every time I search up how to do some shit on my car & I see one of your videos pop up I get excited cause I know I’ll actually have a through breakdown of it. You’ve saved me multiple times & can guarantee it’ll happen again so thanks for the great content buddy, keep it up
Thorough*
Clear, simple, professional. A truly Do it Yourself clip. 👍👍👍👍👍
For a moment I thought you were the first American ever to call it a hand brake and use it while parked. Then I heard you say the word 'out' and suddenly realise you're Canadian and you know exactly what the hand brake is for. I'm from Australia. Our driving lessons are very similar.
Very good video, you explained the procedure in detail, video is clear and focused.
Great demonstration, great camera angle, and great voice. Thanks for sharing your work.
Thank you kindly!
Thank you so much you really helped me out! This solved my 2011 accord brake issues!
What was your issue ?
great diy, i was waiting another episode. Thank you¡¡¡¡

Very informative! Thanks
Good call on coloring the bolts with red paint/marker that need to be taken off.
Good Calle on the EBC Yell stuff pads.....Different vehicle but they work great on mine. I also got slotted front and rear rotors.
Best in class
Nice how to Milan, thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome video man! My mazdaspeed3 has had this same problem for as long as I can remember so this really helped out!!
Thanks very good video 👍👍👍
Where have you been all my life😇
Got a VW Mk4 2003 and I feel the engine vibration through the car body could it be the engine mounts because they ain't been replaced since new.
I'd definitely replace them. I have a 04 accord 5 speed and my transmission shakes if I dump the clutch, my mounts are almost completely corroded
Any videos on how to do a camshaft replacement on VWs or what to do when your timing belt is slightly off line "Engine or ignition timing".
Great explanations man keep it up
Thanks man show how to replaces parking brake cable meaning my rear left and right caliper not stock my right rear caliper got hot meaning cable problem right first I change the cable first before I do the right rear calumet replaces anyway thanks to much.
Very nice
Well done young man, well done,, Ohh and Thank YOU.
Have you thought about getting quick Jack's? Would save you loads of time. Still loving the video's 👍👍
During applying my car hand break it initially is loosely working and then grips some teeth producing a bumpy sound from rear hub some times works without any trouble but again in between gets loose during application I am quite disturbed and need ur help to get rid of this problem
Just a question : you said the drivers side hand brake cable isn't doing anything and you need a new one to fit. I notice that you bought two cables, does that mean you need to fit two new brake cable not just the side not working let's say if the other one is still 50% life in it? Also regarding calipers do you need to change it in both side if only one is seized? I take it its like shock absorbers and tyres everything needs to be changed in pair just because one doesn't work? Boy my MOT repairs are gonna be alot 😅🤣🤣
where is the DYNO COMPARISON? I am waiting for it!!! Thank you!!!
I have 2009 Honda Accord 2-door (the same as you show on this video clip). I had the same issue. I tried to adjust the e-brake in the center console, but it didn't work. I think my e-brake cables were stretched. When I look at the arms (where the e-brake cables are connected) at the rear calipers, they are not the same position. The left side arm position is open wider than the right side. It seem like 1 side was seized. Do I have to fix this issue before I replace the new cables? Or, Do I have to replace new rear calipers?
Te quiero y extraño muucho ... you know who you are ...
Can the rubber sleeve be removed and aftermarket sleeves put on???
I don't see why not
Hey Milan, I have one question, i have 2007 acura TL-S with manual tran, will that be the same trany from your accord? because it has the grinding issues and the handbrake isn’t working right
I get dizzy with that auto focus of your camera bro😆
I HAVE VY COMMODORE HAND BRAKES NOT ENGAGING ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TOO ISSUE??
Do you have any A4 AUDI videos I have no click in scound when using the hand brake would that mean it's of its track?
Hi from Romania ❤️
I have the same car (2008) and I failed my inspection for the emergency brake not stopping the car. I was told that both rear caliper needed to be replaced because the emergency brake doesn't work. Does that make sense? I'm just really confused.
Hey Jayden, yes that does make sense. The rear calipers have the parking brake mechanism built into it for these cars. If the caliper's hand brake function is seized, they will need to be replaced/ fixed.

Once you've earned enough money with your CZcams channel (around fifteen hundred US dollars) you might want to consider installing an electric auto hoist in your Dad's garage. You'll love it.
How come whenever I do this, one of the cables is so rusted that you have to cut one or both anchor points off cable and end up with the original internal liner bonded inside the car under the floor with no access? These YT video's are always done on cars with the original parts are basically new and no grim or other real world scenario exist 😢.
I think mine snapped. It doesnt even work their is no tension
Dude turbo it, all already!!!
Anyone tried this on a 2005 mitsubishi colt?
Oh to work on 10 year old cars that don't have rust
Is that a Honda with Nissan Wheels😅😅😅😅
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I'm not a fan of drive and steer by wire, BUT one of the best innovations in recent years are electronic hand brakes imo, no clunky lever in the cockpit and they don't seem to wear out, atleast not like those cables.
How can you really know that, I'm sure in 10 years there will be failures in the electronic ones as well
Hapkin yea, I have the electronic parking brake and i don’t think i should trust that because what if the electronic fail and operate anytime at highway?
First
Hlo bro
Is the youtuber speaking American accent?
Why the fuck do the wheels say nissan
triggered🤣🤣🤣
CZcams is allowing dishonest adds so I quit watching. A few more and I delete CZcams.
What do you mean?
milanmastracci ... I don’t really think it’s your fault, but CZcams is making me watch some pretty dishonest adds before and during your videos. The only recourse I have is to leave.
Is that an Apple Watch? Awfully expensive watch to be working on vehicle with....especially underneath with rust, scratches etc...just saying!!
