Hello, where did you buy the clamp to read the eeprom? 0:59

oh you have the car I think its more easy to connect your obd to the car

For this model year, Obd programming isn’t possible with this scanner.

@@mechaniac9194 this is too much work, use a different scanner. I do these with autel and autopropad in and out 5 mins, no disassembly. but I do appreciate showing us something different, just not practical

@@lakelandcarkeys You’re absolutely right this job is easier with other scanners. I just made this video to show how to do it with this scanner since there isn’t much information on how to do it. Also I made it to show that’s it possible to do programming that requires eeprom on other vehicles.

I have to send my KTP back for repair. it should be back in a few days. once I get it back I will try to make some videos on it as I too have a hard time finding info on its features

@@lakelandcarkeyswhat Autel did you use? Today I couldn't do Honda Odyssey 2002 USA with Autel 508. The same issue. Didn't connect by OBD.

I highly recommend buying European equipment and not Chinese scrap. Then you can make a chip for the car in 30s by cable.

I am aware of that. I just wanted to make a video on how to do it with this scanner since there isn't much information on making keys for these types of vehicles using this scanner.

@@mechaniac9194 I own KeyTool Plus. It uses stolen software (like VVDI2) from the Abrites. And I'm not very happy with Xhorse and the quality of their products. And yes, I have every single device from them. If you are into car keys, I recommend Abrites, SmartPro and TDB1000. Of the Chinese stuff, the XTool PAD3/Elite is reliable. Autel is rubbish.
