  • The eating disorders Anorexia Nervosa, Bulima Nervosa and Binge Eating affect 8.6% of the population, this is a significant rise from 3.4% 20 years ago. These diseases are not new, but are truly debilitating and devastating that largely affect young women today. 50% of the population know an individual suffering from an eating disorder - struggling, usually in silence.
    Eating is part of our every essential routine - making an eating disorder a disease that is incredibly difficult to navigate.
    In this long-awaited show, emotional host Trudy Kerr sits down for a powerful and very honest conversation with two brave women - Cass and Sarah - who share their eating disorder journey, along with Eating Disorder Psychologist and Therapist Dorothy.
    Marathon Runner and Dancer Cassandra Galea , author of the blog article ‘Id rather die than be a size 12’ shares the triggers that took her took a dark place, battling self image, comments from a partner and family, and why she wrote the brutally honest article about her devastating experiences.
    Air Dancer Sarah Pullicino shares her journey of anorexia that eventually saw her hospitalized at 35 kilos with a heart rate of 35 bpm. She shares her long recovery to a place where she lives comfortably with herself and totally happy today.
    Host Trudy Kerr joins in the conversation, speaking out about her own experience with Eating Disorders for the first time in 35 years - and how it has affected her life since.
    Psychologist Dorothy Scicluna guides the conversation to recognise an eating disorder, the importance of therapy and the recovery process.
