Everyone thinks im wasting money trying to add a 2inch lift to my escape but youve definitely proved that those rigs can look badass! Definitely gonna throw a little bit of money at mine now.
Your rig looks great and a lot cleaner than mine. Mine is a work and camp escape . Seats have not been up in long time ,and filled with work and hunting gear. 370,000 plus ,mud stained, and half the dash is lit up. God bless from Nova Scotia.
see, for my escape's sound system i have a 22 inch cubed box with an 18 inch speaker. it takes up alot of space but it sounds amazing. and to be fair it came out of my old trailblazer because i was too cheap to buy more speakers. i replaced all of the door speakers with new speakers (previous owner managed to blow them using only the factory cd/cassette stereo) I like the escape so far. its the easiest car i've ever had to work on. heck if your on flat ground you dont even need a jack to get under it most of the time. If you do buy one second hand i would personally replace the hose clamps on the radiator with the screw in kind. the pinch ones suck.
Hello there, I’m an 06 Ford Escape owner living in the mountains trying to lift my baby. Wondering about which kit I should use and what is the price range? Thank you!
Damn i miss my ford escape 2005 model. Ahha once i crashed in to a lexus while reversing damn the lexus got bent like shit i thought the escape got fucked up as well. LOL BUT IT WAS JUST A MINOR DAMAGE ON THE SIGNAL LIGHTS. I WAS LIKE DAMN THIS SHIT IS STRONG
What is the brush guard attached to? The lower rad support? You realize the "crash test programs" (the designed crush points) are weak structures, right? Hopefully you ran some tubing back to the unibody? Hate to see you use the winch and pull the front end off it.
Noah Hitt lol! So true, came in from the garage and the wife went to bed early sick. Been searching escape vids as I was thinking of building a strong mud truck version. Just got offered a 93 f350 with a 5.8 for dirt cheap. Probably won't see me on escape vids anymore. Modern suv built into a strong off road rig seems interesting, but there are so many better choices out there. I see now it has severe limitations that would be expensive and time consuming to correct. Better to start with a 4x4 in the first place. If I want to drive down gravel roads it'd be fine but I'll be up to the hood in mud so...yeah, it's going to take too much.
Kevin Baron be careful, with that much lift you are in danger of the axels getting pulled out. I would go with one or the other, not both unless you are planning on doing modifications to the axels
Im running 255/70r16 on mine stock suspension and wheels no issues i feel like you could definitely run 285/70r16’s with a 2” lift i dont rub a all right now
Bro just bought an 05 escape as my daily commuter. But want to modifi it a little more. So she looks mean like you're. Can you shoot a few links if any so I can purchase them
Hey Noah I got a 2004 ford escape 3.0l v6 I love my escape it handles like a dream its really miled (348xxx km) out but I'm wanting to spice it up a little bit build it for off road like yours with the lift, the tires, ect. But I'm wandering where you purchased your front bull bar for it because I love the led pods and the hole look of it but cant seem to find a bull bar for mine like yours so if you can help me out that would be greatly appreciated :) thanks! Looks great man thanks for the great video! I'll be subscribing to you for sure haha
@@NoahHitt I bought a brush guard for my 2011 Ford escape how did you mount the brackets on the frame of it instructions it came with don't explain it to well lol
Great! I also want to lift my Escape. I have a question about cv joint, is it reliably? Can you get the link for the lift-kit rear suspension. Sorry, i very bad know english.
I have an 07 Escape like yours and I want to get the Old Man Emu kit but in the website it says that 07s may have alignment issues when installing the kit. Did you have this issue or did it bolt on without issue?
@@dustincrabtree8568 I see your message is a few weeks old. Hoping not to SPAM Noah's fun CZcams vid, but you can pick up the kits from our store at... www.rocky-road.com/escape.html
You are correct, I had changed the account after I got rid of my escape, the new account is @wrxshun and all my old posts with the escape are still on it
I own a 06 Mazda Tribute 3.0 at 216k miles. Unfortunately, fwd. Looking to straight pipe it. Ran it open at the resonator below passenger seat for about 1/2 a year and loved it other than being right below our freakin feet on the interstate. Looking to space the wheels by 3” maybe some rally wheels with fatter tires (no not off-road tires) any suggestions would be fantastic
What I love most about my 2006 Escape is there are always plenty of them at the pull-r-parts yard to scavenge from.
Everyone thinks im wasting money trying to add a 2inch lift to my escape but youve definitely proved that those rigs can look badass! Definitely gonna throw a little bit of money at mine now.
I wanna do it to my 2007 escape now too lmao
Bigger tires means bigger lift ,means less cutting 💯

Fun video! We love selling the OME springs for these Escapes. You're always good people to work with!
Good job!!
Hello, do you even send this OME lift kit to Europe? Exactly to Czech Republic? Thank you.
@@dominikperina8772 Yes we do ship to anywhere in the world. Email us and we can work on this with you...

@@rockyroadoutfitters well, i write a mail too. it is possible in Italy?
Do they offer them for 03 explorer?
I also put the ome lift springs on my 09 escape. 240hp, xlt, 26mpg. Whats not to like.
Any problems with power steering or alignment?
Love clicking a video that has a WV guy in it

i also need to know this !!
Old man emu is the only one I know of
Old man Emu was the only non spacer way to lift an escape when I had mine, I believe it was like $200+ for the springs
Love your build man !
My 05 kicks ass. Never gets stuck.
Joe Young then your not pushing the limits! Lol! If I can bury a f350 with 8" of lift and 44" boggers, you can sink an awd car! Lol.
Really nice job! It would be nice if Ford took notice and made a Factor option like this
They have, its gonna be called Bronco!
Well since I am restoring my 05 Esacpe going in for bodywork (rusty wheel wells) we owned this since 2007. A two inch lift would make it look nicer

Where did you get that Grille guard?
My 2011 xlt doesnt have a sub woofer but is still has good audio
Where did you get the roof rack
Hey Noah, would I have to uninstall my 2004 Ford Escape's factory food rack to put a Yakima Roof Basket like yours on? Please answer, thanks...
MatsuriNetwork if you are just installing the basket it should be able to go over the factory cross bars
Sounds decent. Try to get a supercharger kit for it.
Nothing like cruising in the evening sun with some good music eh?
I have 2" front strut spacers and 1 1/2" coil spacers for rear. Then getting old man emu 1 3/4" lift and going to run 285/75R16's
Kevin Baron be careful, with that much lift you are in danger of the axels getting pulled out. I would go with one or the other, not both unless you are planning on doing modifications to the axels
Also that’s crazy wide and you will have to cut ALOT out of the wells

Dont have links but the lift was Old Man Emu, the roof basket was Curt with the extension, the tires were Firestone MT and the exhaust was a Gibson
This guy is making Merica great again!
You have headers on this truck? If so Where did you order from?
Hi legend…did the rear camber stay in spec with the lift?
I was a bit younger at the time so I probably should have paid attention but I don’t think I had any issues with alignment
